Wheelchair Model Diaries A Great Little Place (Based on Lord Street inside the Atkinson) A Great Little Place is a Social Enterprise creating opportunities for young autistic people to develop work skills for life, They are the winners of Southport Stars Cafe Of The Year 2023, and I was very excited to try it! I was invited for lunch at this lovely cafe, which is accessible from the Atkinson itself, or it does have an entrance at the front too with tables outside. The entrances are both accessible for wheelchair users, but the one through the Atkinson is much easier as its an automatic door, so I can use this when I am on my own The cafe has a great area at the back which is very spacious and a little quieter which I prefer, so I sat here and I was able to stay in my wheelchair and access the table comfortably The disabled toilet facilities are right near the cafe as well, and uses a Radar key entry system. The toilets are lovely and clean with plenty of room to turn in and a good drier too! (always a bonus) I was offered table service which was fantastic, as I find this much easier, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I was with a friend for a catch up and we were both really hungry by the time we ordered, so we we’re grateful to see plenty of comforting filling food on the lunch menu! We both went for the Lancashire Cheese and Red Onion Panini, which was served with a tasty Homemade Creamy Coleslaw and some Kettle Chips. We had a San Pellegrino Lemon drink to help us cool down after shopping, and also a Chai Latte and a Cappuccino! I loved the fact there was wifi available, and also lots of plug sockets around for if you need to hook up! I will be returning here for a work lunch thats for sure! Lovely staff, Great facilities, Gorgeous food! 10/10 I will definitely be back

A Great little place with affordable snacks and drinks in a clean and pleasant seating environment. Service and food excellent, Tables clean and, being inside the Atkinson, there is plenty of other amenities too. The theatre, the library, etc. A Great little place is situated on Lord Street, a main high street in Southport and is amongst many main stream businesses and shops.

Lytham is a lovely quaint, pretty town, with lots of flower displays & great coffee shops. Just a short walk to the water front & a mile walk to Lytham Hall. Plenty of bus stops to get from St Anne's.

We both had a different special, not to test them but because I didn't like some of the items on one of them. They were both very nice and quite filling, great service also. The rest of the menu looked good, as did other peoples food. There is a bit of a draught, so careful where you sit. Yes, a great little place after a wander around the museum and other rooms. A nice afternoon.

Delicious food which is made freshly especially to your own taste. Lovely staff. Good value for money plus a loyalty scheme. Only one quibble. It was a bit cold in parts but they were checking doors when we were there.
