"I recently dined at this restaurant, and while the food was quite enjoyable and beautifully presented, the same can't be said for the service. It's unfortunate to note that the service staff, predominantly composed of young and seemingly inexperienced individuals, left much to be desired. From the moment we ordered a 30-pound bottle of wine, which was brought to our table opened from the bar, to the unusual request of receiving the bill before dessert, it was clear that there were some issues. Waiting for dessert took longer than expected, although it was a delightful treat. What truly soured our experience was the handling of change. We were informed, as we were leaving, that they had no change available. While we intended to leave a tip, it should be our choice, especially when a service charge is already included in the bill. I should also mention that when I asked for toothpicks, they were delivered to our table in the waitress's hands and left on an uncleared table. It was a stark reminder of the unsupervised and inexperienced staff who had the potential to ruin an otherwise great dining experience. The restaurant's food quality is commendable, but the issues with service, attention to detail, and inexperienced waitstaff should be addressed promptly to justify the prices they charge. With some improvements in these areas, this place could truly shine."

Tucked away on one of the backstreets of Southport is this absolutely amazing place. The decor is beautiful, well planned and layed out. The staff were fantastic, lovely warm greeting, hugely professional and had good knowledge of the food they were serving. The food was delicious Starter: I had the black and blue mushrooms sauce was lovely and creamy perfectly balanced cheeses weren't over powering at all. Main: I had the fillet steak hanging kebab and to be honest it could have fed us bothe the serving is that generous. Steak was lovely and tender, Very nicely seasoned. This came with salad, skin on fries and garlic flatbread. Hubby to be had tempura king prawn tacos to start and the surf and turf which was 5oz fillet steak with half a lobster Considering both plates were empty I can safely say his food was spot on too. Sides we shared a cheesy garlic bread and some wild mushrooms and he had the grilled bone marrow to himself ( not my cup of tea) All in all hugely impressed by this place food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended it

Amazing place! Great service, really fresh cocktails and the food was quality. Atmosphere was great, place was filled with people but enough space between other tables to not feel cramped. Menu has plenty of variety, you get what you pay for. Portion sizes are great and the food got better with each bite. Starters I would recommend are the garlic bread & balls of fire, enough to share and get you ready for the mains. Will definitely be making a return soon!

Wonderful place. Had a reservation for 06:00PM, we showed up ten minutes early and they immediately showed us tp our table. All staff were very nice and attentive, didn't need to wait long for the food either. The atmosphere was also great, though some people might not like the 80s music playing in the background but I quite liked it. The food is the only complaint I have, as the ribeye steak I got on the stone was still pink on the inside. It was served on the hot stone with the exterior looking great, I took it off the stone not long after only to realize it wasn' through yet. I then kept it on till the stone got to cold to effectively cook it, but it had not gotten much better I am afraid. The meat itself was of high quality, just wasn't cooked through. Now I do kind of blame myself for this as I took it off somewhat soon, and probably kept it off for too long. Though even if I had not done that, I doubt it would have gotten much better. Again, if it was indeed my fault, then I greatly apologize, though I have grilled several steaks before, and I do not think I am too bad at it. Again, had the steak been cooked through more, then this would be a 10/10, but like this I sadly cannot do that. Aside from all that, prices are a bit high, but all the foods were high quality (despite being undercooked) so I think those are mostly fair. My Verdict: 8/10 Good.

We ate at Firepit yesterday evening and wanted to leave a review as the service was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress Nicole went above and beyond when one of our party lost her ring and it ended up in a discharged napkin- Nicole went into the back and searched the bin and came back with the ring! We are so grateful for her for doing this and wanted her to get recognition for providing a superb service. She had a smile on her face throughout and nothing was too much trouble for her, thanks Nicole!

Service was a bit slow as was the mains but the startes were quite quick. The wings were to die for but I had the hanging steak which wasn't best and not very well cooked as for the onions. Staff seemed very young and just wanted to hang arnd the food area rather than attending to guests. There was alot of people waiting for food and getting a bit upset. Really a shame as the staff just needed a bit of a steer and direction or that's what I found.

Good food, polite staff, quick service. We really enjoyed our visit here and the food was delicious. Little bit on the pricey side, but would be happy to go back again.

Great place to eat, although a bit expensive. The food was spot on and the service was great. Just to make you aware, a gratuity is automatically added to your bill, so you need to check that before you leave a tip! There is a pay and display car park opposite so easy to park.
