LGBT+ review Came here with a friend for dinner and a catch up! Fantastic service from the staff. I presented female with no issues . The food was lovely but the menu was small , but decent enough and plenty of vegan choice. The drinks menu is very impressive with alot of beer on draft , arguably one of the best line ups of ipas and largers I've ever seen in Merseyside. They have a good cocktail menu as well unfortunately unless it's a day when they are on offer I don't think they make good for value ! 10/10 will be back for sure !!

This place delivers a wonderful atmosphere and service with a smile, me and my partner stopped by for dinner today and I have to say the quality of food and service was exceptional, and all at a brilliant price, 3 starters(to share) 2 mains and 4 cocktails for £55(roughly less) and it was all spot on. From drinks, to food quality, amazing and the girls that served us, ran the place brilliantly. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful place again in the near future. Thank you for a pleasant experience

Very nice pub food at medium prices. Decent range of craft beers and real ale. The surroundings are good and they have live music at a weekend. The only downside was that on two out of 3 occasions we have eaten there it has taken almost 30 minutes for our meal to be served.

Nice location and ambience. Guy playing live music on his guitar and singing which was lovely and not over-powering so we could still have a conversation. . Food menu choices and really nice food, although portions are on the small side. Excellent value drinks with the 'double up' option for only £1. The guy who served us was brilliant - friendly, efficient and made us feel very welcome. Very dog friendly too - including inside seating.

Absolutely fantastic place, couldn’t recommend enough! Chris (our server) went above and beyond and made out night really special. First time in Southport and would come back just to come here again! The food was decent, drinks prices good and the service superb! Thank you to all the staff, in the words of Arnie, we will be back!

Excellent service and frankly underappreciated. Why people go to the wetherspoons with this place down the road is a mystery. The buy a drink get another for a quid means the beer is cheaper. The staff are lovely and really friendly and cheerful..... What more can you ask for.

Visited the potting shed in Southport and had both food and cocktails which were both excellent but would like to say how impressed we were with the service, we were looked after by Adam who i must say is a credit to your establishment he was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble he certainly made our experience a fab one . Will definitely return.

I can’t say enough good things about The Potting Shed, the atmosphere and the staff are by far the best workers around and Connor Birchall makes indubitably the best drinks in town. The ambiance of the wood and lighting make you feel at ease while waiting for fantastic food and even better drinks, paired with live and local artists on their mini stage it makes for an absolutely lovely experience. If you haven’t stopped by, you’re missing out and I highly suggest giving patronage to this establishment. You will be fed well, drinks full and feel like you’re part of the Potting Shed family every time you walk through the door. My wife and kids love traveling from the States to visit family in Southport and our must have stop is always The Potting Shed.

A group of couples on a relatively quiet Friday night. Bar service was excellent, (especially Adam)venue was extremely clean and tidy, staff went above and beyond for us throughout the evening and the value for money was brilliant.

Good service , beautiful food . Chicken kebabs chunky chips and onion rings . The hot sauce wasn't as hot as anticipated but the bar b que did have a little edge too it . All in all nice clean environment, friendly staff and promt waiting time. Only criticism was slightly understaffed at the Bar and no real organization . The poor girl behind the bar had to face some people (clearly worse for wear with drink) while trying to pull pints and take food orders . We Couldn't get the App to work for this venue leaving us no choice but to order at the bar , in my opinion causing more stress on already struggling members of the team . Get this aspect sorted and i believe you've got a very good little venue . 😎😊
