The Guest House - Southport - Photo album

What a fantastic old fashioned boozer modernised to keep the original feel of the pub, great and cheap food and a fantastic cask ales, beers and larger with other drinks available. We stumbled across this gem and stayed for 3 drinks and a meat platter, cheap and great quality, we will be back again
What you call a proper pub. Staff was pleasant, beer good, about 6-7 real ales on tap not counting the usual lager etc. We didn't try any food, but plenty of people seemed to enjoy theirs. Great courtyard beer garden at the back
Very traditional, dark-wood panelled pub with separate rooms. Great selection of cask ales, probably the best in Southport, but also plenty of other lagers and craft on tap. More of a drinkers’ pub than a family environment, but friendly staff and clientele. Would definitely return.
Fantastic back street boozer with a great selection of ales.
Great find, lovely real ale pub, with great character and a good choice of ales Live music on weekends and little beer garden out back Well worth a visit
Beautiful old pub. Spotlessly clean and good selection of beers at good prices. Friendly locals and landlord
Brilliant old style pub, great beer, and lovely staff, our first visit but not the last
Like walking back in time! Fabulous wooden panelled interior, multi-roomed pub with a feature bar and up to 10/11 well kept cask ales generally from North West breweries.
Fantastic traditional pub. Quality cask ales well kept and wife variety of other drinks. Reasonable prices, you'll get a shock when you walk around the corner to other bars for sure! Well done to the landlord landlady keep it going!
I love a pub with polished copper! This is a real gem. They enjoyed the dogs too, which is a win for us!
