I unfortunately was taken ill whilst in the restaurant (it wasn't the food!!) and the staff showed genuine care and attention towards me with professionalism and discretion. I was very grateful to them.

We went for a team meeting from Element5, I have to say I had not been before and was curious as the reviews were very mixed. I personally found both the service and food very good, the service improved as the evening went on.

I walked in to this restaurant after an awfully busy morning. And I am glad I did. I haven't been to a Prezzo restaurant before but I was taken aback by the prompt service. I was greeted even before I was past the door. The restaurant was busy but I got a table within a few minutes. The gentleman apologized for delays upfront as they were unusually busy. But the apologies weren't required as the wait was worth it. The food was served in adequate portions and very neatly presently. The suggestions were spot on. The dessert menu is a little sparse but populated with some gems. In short a very nice place for a well rounded meal.
Got a Red letter Day Voucher from work and have been waiting to visit Southport so I could use it in here. It was Definitely worth the wait!
This was the first time I've been to a Prezzo and hopefully won't be the last. All the staff we had contact with were both friendly and polite, the restaurant itself was a wonderful experience , Clean, modern, well laid out and airy.
The menu although restricted due to my voucher was for me at least very good, I wanted everything on it! Thanks for a great experience 👍 😀
Went for a random lunch and was really surprised. Staff were brilliant and food was really great. Was quite quiet but place was spotless and we felt well looked after.
Just wanted to add a review for balance as there's been a few bad ones lately. I know they had to close a bit recently due to COVID staff shortages.
We went for tea yesterday (Tuesday night) with low expectations and were very pleasantly surprised. Really friendly, attentive service, food came out really timely and hot, portion sizes and quality were great. Busier than we expected so actually a nice atmosphere and plenty of staff, we had no issues at all, the reviews seem like a completely different restaurant to us. Had a lovely time!
Finally got round to visiting and redeeming our amazing value for money voucher after a long wait due to the pandemic. It's a gorgeous building inside and has some great floor to ceiling windows to see the world go by as you eat. Decent size portions and nice food for a chain.
My partner got hold of a special offer, so we had a three-course meal with a glass of wine for around half-price. We bought an additional bottle of wine and had a great time. The food was great and the service exceptional - thanks to Aga. We'll be going back soon, offer or not.

Lovely lunch, have booked twice in last month, food excellent, Salah served us, exemplary. Hope Prezzo Southport is staying open as its our favourite restaurant, lovely decor, excellent food and service, carry on the good work Southport.
Loved it here, great friendly staff working really hard to please everyone, food was superb, seating ok could be better. Used taste card and got £35 off the meal. Highly recommend Prawn Risotto, Will definitely come back.

Lovely visit and enjoyed the new menu. I had the Spinach Creste, nice flavours. Service was excellent from the new lady, sorry I didn't get her name. She was so friendly and helpful with the new menu.
Super friendly staff, the food came quick and was really hot. Can't fault it. I would definitely go again they are very good with social distancing and clean the tables and have everything contact free.
We ate in Prezzo last night and had a really beautiful meal. We both chose lasagne and shared a garlic bread. The lasagne was very tasty and filling. For dessert I chose Scillian lemon pie and my husband had tirimisu, both delicious. The young lady who is studying at a local college and plays football for Everton ladies was so friendly and chatty. A credit to Prezzo. Credit also to the young blond lady assistant manager. We had a really enjoyable time.

Me & my friend booked a table here back in may due to having an event at the Atkinson just down the road. We arrive on time and was seated pretty much straight away.
When we were seated we were handed menus and was just sort of left to our own devises. 25 mins later we had to grab a member of staff to order drinks/food.
As we gave ourselves an hour and half (which I would say is plenty time) we wanted to order stuff from the starter menu to come with the mains but the waitress took our order and rushed straight off not giving us time to ask if they could come out with the mains.
The starters came out about 15 mins after ordering. They food was lovely that came out but it got to around 30 mins till we needed to be at our event they hadn’t took our starter plates away and we hadn’t even been offered another drink.
I went to the bar to ask where our food was as we had an event to go to. I was told to go and sit down. I didn’t want to make a fuss so I did.
The restaurant wasn’t overly busy but we heard a few people including a table seated across from us asking for their money back as they had been waiting nearly 2 hours for their food. The waitress who was speaking to them came across as quite aggressive and rude. After hearing this I explained we were going to miss our event so we would need to cancel our meals.
The waitress who I spoke to was lovely and couldn’t apologise enough. They gave us our money back for the food we didn’t receive and just as we got the money back the food came out. She did say if we came back later on they would make it us fresh and apologised again.
I’m not sure whether they were having teething problems up in the kitchen and this was the problem but the staff member that dealt with us was lovely, it’s just a-shame we didn’t have a good experience.
