This was my 4th visit to the crete and it was as lovely as the 1st. We ate off the early menu which is fanrastic value for money. The dishes are simply prepared which lets the flavours of the food shine thru. No need for an over fussiness on the plate. To compliment the food we had greek beer and a bottle of troodos red wine, which complimented the food perfectly. The service was swift, even tho we took a ciggy break after the starters, they waited for us to finish before the mains. We were not rushed. The waitress was attentive and only required me to look at her for attention and she was straight over. A good waitress in my eyes, she knew how to keep customers happy. The only thing I would like to see would be to have greek beer on draught, only to saviour more of it!!

The best Greek experience we have had in the UK. The staff were so friendly and the food amazing and authentic. Top class. Shame we live in Kent and were only visiting for a wedding. Great value for money also. Would have cost twice as much back home. 6 of us ate for under Β£200

Went on a meal for an anniversary and it was absolutely delicious. I went to Greece last year and missed the food and they did not disappoint. The food was out of this world and reasonably priced. I wish i had pictures but all the food was gone minutes after they brought it outπŸ˜‚. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

The staff are so welcoming and warm ,and the restaurant has a friendly atmosphere ... on top of that!! food out of this world , at a reasonable price . well worth a visit ,so enjoy your meal in a clean family run restaurant plus the Greek music softly plays in the back ground , so you can talk and enjoy a relaxing meal together or as a family... well done to all the staff for presenting a service while things are so hard for businesses today..... well done!!!!!!!!

We were whowed by the authenticity of how good they have captured Greek decor. Of course the cook and assistant were Greek. Brilliant food and not long to wait. Good selection on menu. Klephtico was lovely. Would definitely go back again. On the back street where Peaky Blinders is on corner. Well worth a trip.

We went as a group of women, on the mezedes menu. The food kept on coming and it was great. I have a garlic allergy and had sardines souvlaki to start with and the mixed pork and chicken souvlaki for the mains, served with rice and chips. It was lovely. Would highly recommend. The staff were great and catered really well for my food allergy.

We went for a meal Friday night and the food was beautiful. The service was excellent, very helpful and very friendly. One of our party ordered the Sea Bass and its a full fish with head on with she didn't like but the waitress and kitchen were so helpful and took it away and sorted it with in a couple of minutes. When im next down Southport again I would love to go back as there is so much on the menu I would love to try Thank you again!!

We spent a few days in Southport recently. We came across this little gem. On entering there is a small courtyard which I guess is used in Summer, inside the tables were nicely spaced, hand gel on tables. The decor was truly Greek, (Greek owner/chef)with blue walls and plenty of Greek memorabilia around. It really felt like you were in a Greek restaurent on holiday. The staff were friendly, especially the lady from Romania whose name I have forgotten. Menu was very good. They even do an early evening menu which is a set price. We had some dips and pitta bread to start, then grilled prawns and Klefitko, both come with Greek salad chips and rice. We had a bottle of retsina, and my husband finished with a metaxa. The second night we had chicken souvlaki, mixed souvlaki again accompanied with Greek salad (the dressing was lovely) chips and rice. All washed down with Mythos beer. If you enjoy going on holiday to Greece, try this place you will not be disappointed. We will definately be back when we are next in Southport.

Lovely food. Loverly old fashioned atmosphere. Where they could improve is thinking a bit more about food allergies and intolerances. One member of our party needs to be glutton free, and it was not clear from the menu, what she could eat. Also there were dishes that are easy enough to make glutton free, that were not. Which was a shame. Also. Baby changing. They don't have a dedicated facility. Not great in the 21st century. But I gave it five stars for everything because despite all that, the food was great, the service was excllent, and the atmosphere relaxed. The staff could not have been more helpful.
