A fab little blast from a bygone age. Warm and friendly with a real retro feel. I had the Welsh Rarebit, it was divine. My partner had a breakfast omelette, which was very tasty and a huge portion that included fried potatoes and salad. Much recommended for a drop in when in Southport.
Was thrilled to find this gem of a spot with an extensive GF menu! The atmosphere is so cute and the staff are amazing. Best GF scones I’ve ever had. Hoping to make another stop before we leave town.
It’s like taking tea on a period drama film set. A great place for the whole family to enjoy a traditional tea with the little sandwiches, cakes and scones with clotted cream. A very British experience and recommend.

Nostalgic tea room with service by staff in black and white. lt is always very busy and it's not a very big space. They have a huge menu to suit all tastes and the food is very good. Amazing Vegan food available, especially the desserts. My wife had a vegan cream tea. The selection of teas and coffees was good and they have a large menu. Just expect a wait as good is cooked fresh. It's not a place for a quick bite but a place to take your time and relax.
Wonderful Victorian tea rooms with a varied vegan menu. The food was fabulous and all plates were empty. The host/server was very knowledgeable and polite. My friends and I felt very relaxed and enjoyed the ambience. I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Southport.
