Fantastic restaurant. Great menu beautifully cooked and presented by the perfect service. If you're in Southport don't miss it, you WILL regret it.
Enjoyed the taster menu tonight, choice of 3 small starters and 2 small taster main courses, with vegetables. All the dishes were very tasty. The lemon cheese cake was delicious, but the cheeseboard, which we decided to share, was not worth 10.00,and had 5 biscuits and a few slithers of cheese,Def not wort
Good food in a small restaurant with attentive service. Prices towards the upper end for the style of food and an older clientele
Great tasting menu. Highly recommended. A Jewel in Southport's Gastronomic crown.
Lovely place, with excellent service and very friendly staff. The food was quality, the taster menu was well worth it. Will definitely recommend it
Fantastic little Bistro. Had the 3 course lunch which was good value. Really solid cooking, not sure how they turn it out of the tiny kitchen but they do. Must be hot in there! Really good wine list with fair prices. Staff were really nice and restaurant has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Would definite
Excellent service. Menu was perfect with the chosen food even more so. Lovely atmosphere, very clean and well presented. If you're ever in Southport (esp. for a show at the Theatre) then don't hesitate to book a table.
Fabulous food, very interactive service (with chef) and custom menu on the fly. I'd give it 5 stars but the seats were uncomfortable. They should get rid of the fancy seats and get comfy ones.
Tried the taster menu today - fabulous! The octopus salad starter and fruity lamb are amazing. Staff were wonderful and setting is great. Best value restaurant you could ever hope to find. Highly recommended
Had an amazing meal at Bistro 21. We had a voucher given to us for the restaurant and we didn't really know anything about the place. It was a Thursday evening, and the delicious tasting menu and great service turned what had been a really bad day into a good one. We will be back! Highly Recommended
Star rating is well deserved. Taster menu is a fantastic idea and allows you to try several dishes at the same time, also solves a problem if you cannot make your mind up. Quality food and great service.
Food here is always great. Service is excellent too. Restaurant is small, so make sure you book ahead to avoid disappointment - not getting in is the only way you could be disappointed by this place!
I had the pleasure of eating here the other day. Front of house staff are amazing and the food is very comforting. If you are reading this review questioning whether or not to go, get in there and see for yourself!
Easily the finest quality restaurant meal I have eaten in Southport. The standard of food here (on my visit) deserves consideration for rosette. Staff are very friendly, professional and attentive. Restaurant is well fitted and cosy yet spacious, and they could have fit more seats yet have chosen no
Went in May 2018. We got there just as the kitchen was closing, but the chef let us come in anyway. It may have been my favorite meal on my trip. Wait staff was great, food was incredible, and reasonably priced. If I’m ever in Southport again, I will go back.
The tasting menu was beyond belief, as was the bill. ( £99.50 for two ) However this did include coffee and cognac with dessert and two bottles of decent wine during the meal. All in all I would recommend this place.
Absolutely superb food. Some maybe a little bit too pricey like a filet steak for £27 but I understand filet is expensive anyway. Also just wish all items on the taster menu were available on the other menus as it seemed a bit confusing when wanting to order a starter off one but then fancied a main
One of the best meals I've ever had and at such fantastic value for money!! I went here on a recommend, and so glad I did 👌 You will not be disappointed
First visit to Langs and was impressed by the experience. Would recommend the table d'hote as it represents good value for money. But beware ... they make their profit from the house wine which was OK but not worth £15 a bottle.
