Went there for Sunday roast. Their beetroot wellington is one of the best vegetarian roasts I've had. The chicken roast was soft and tender. The mushroom on garlic bread was delicious too.

We visited for a Thursday lunch. We have one child with a variety of severe allergies and even though they do try and cater for allergies they kindly allowed us to bring food for him so he could be out with his family. Had a gorgeous lunch today. Staff attentive but not over the top, garden table enjoying the sunshine and great atmosphere. Totally recommend. Fabulous food and great service in a genuinely lovely surrounding. The pub is ancient and full of charm, although there is a modern dining room extension, and rhe marquee is great in the summer. The food is genuinely excellent and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

Went to the ship inn for a lunch time treat and was not disappointed. I ordered the ship inn burger and it was excellent. Came with chips and slaw very well cooked and very tasty. The garden was a very pleasant area to sit and the staff were attentive and efficient. All of them were friendly and

We stopped off on the way to Margate, and quite simply it was blooming lovely, so good we booked for the return journey.
Had a really nice time in here tonight. The service was excellent, and the food was great, and real value for money. I would definitely recommend it.
