The Queens Head - Southend - Photo album

A great Morris night at the Queen's Head with a wonderful welcome from the Landlord. He's really making a difference. Excellent ales - I'm afraid we only drank, so can't comment on the food, but the menu looked really tempting and the interior was as welcoming as"mine host". We'll be back.
Great pit stop, another great pub to add to our list of must return to, lovely food, great beer & a brilliant reception. September 2023 a return pit stop just to prove it's just as good & YES it is, I think it may have changed hands but thankfully it is still brilliant, thanks
Hadn't been in here since pre-Covid and Colin & Tara have done a great job. Went in for Sunday lunch and it was amazing! We were lucky as we hadn't booked and they just had enough left, so do call up and book beforehand. Looking forward making use of our loyalty card where we get our 5th roast free!
Very friendly staff served excellent roasts. Nice to get a good pint of Butcombe and our Vegan guests were happy! They served my 7 year old grandson with his 7th birthday cake. Well done to all!
Beautiful pub, very friendly staff.
Lovely food and great atmosphere.
Had very nice lunch with family. Good service and reasonable menu choices. 😊
Excellent service and food good .beer garden nice
Great relaunch. Fabulous Sunday roast. Quality ingredients and the best cheese sauce this side of Haverfordwest:) super crew of staff, know what they are doing. Good stuff.
Good food and quick service. Deserts are a little expensive and not overly exciting versions of their respective recipes. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space.
Great pub with a good selection of food...especially for a gluten free diet!!
One of the nicest traditional pubs I've had the pleasure of visiting. Lovely 250ml glass of red for £5.50 and a homemade sausage and red onion roll for £2.00. Can't recommend any higher. Wonderful visit on a Monday lunchtime🌞
Fabulous country pub with friendly staff and an extensive menu catering for everyone, with great gluten free and vegan options if required. Gorgeous decor, real ales and a great selection of drinks, plus climbing frame outdoors for the kids!
We were looking for somewhere to have a Sunday lunch but everywhere near home finished serving at 2. We tried the The Queens Head and were glad to hear they served food until 4pm. We were welcomed by a very friendly bar staff. We both had roast beef and it was fantasic, loads of beef and plenty of f
Lovely pub and terrific food. A bit off the beaten track for me but a wonderful discovery.. Definitely well worth seeking out. Staff very friendly and provide great service. Can't fault it at all..
Had a meal at the pub last night with friends. They were very impressed. Food was excellent and the place was lively and buzzing. Great to have a village pub back again
