Great place and setup if you are a lover of cats. You need to book online, through the website and book a suitable time slot. There are certain time slots for younger children but all the details are there. It was simple to book. It was easy to locate, just a short walk from the main city centre. It is very secure entry for kitties safety. The food and drink was enjoyable. Then the rest of the time it was "I spy which cat."

This is a wonderful cat cafe! The cats are all very sociable, it’s super clean, they care about the welfare of the cats (sanitise hands before entering, and the cats have their own spaces that customers can’t access). I had a baked potato and it was really nice. I absolutely fell in love with Pumpkin but I think she has that effect on everyone!

Absolutely fantastic! The cats all had a range of personalities between playful and sleepy. They were quite confident and climb all over you. They have a toilet which is accessible for younger children and those with disabilities. The food is delicious, filling and tastes extremely fresh. The enviroment was clean and staff were very happy. The staff also offered to provide us with treats if we didn't have one. There are toys , climbing frames and beds in which that cats roamed and used. 5/5 this place was fantastic.

lovely clean cafe, usually in cat cafes the cats are unbothered when you try to call them over but the cats are so friendly and active here!! they jump on your table and sit in your lap willingly! my boyfriend isn’t a cat person but formed a particularly strong bond with olive the hairless sphinx. he has a cat allergy and found the tissue dispensers on the tables to be helpful! i had the most delicious thick banana milkshake. the owner came to talk to us and explain more about the cats, she was lovely. she let us stay for as long as we want providing they had no more tables booked! 10/10 experience, the best gift ever and would love to come back.

Lovely cafe with a twist of having the cats. It was fairly quiet when we visited and most of the cats were content and chilled. I took my two boys and they enjoyed interacting with the cats and giving them some treats. Milkshakes were nice as were the paninis, service was lovely and friendly and they were happy to tell us all about the cats. I look forward to returning again in the future.

This was absolutely fabulous! If we didn't live so far away we'd be there all the time. Cats are gorgeous 😍 including sphinx cats! They are so friendly and I'm amazed there was no fighting!!

We went to kitteacakes as a birthday present for our son. It was fantastic, from the friendly welcome at the door to the lovely food and drink. They boys loved the waffles and playing with the cats. Our waitress also let the boys give the cats a treat! We will certainly be back again for another visit and have also told our friends and family how great it was!

Visited earlier today, really friendly and welcoming staff! Enjoyed our visit & got to see many cats and take some pictures. Next time we will have some food which looked really nice, but was very enjoyable and will come back soon for sure. Very very chilled and nice place

It is a nice little establishment with very friendly staff and cats. There are about 10 cats which freely roam the place and they all like to play and to eat treats! Some cats are more playful than others, and some like to cuddle (I had one sit on my lap for about 10 minute). The food is also very nice and fairly priced. You do have to book in advance, you pay £5 pp for a table, on top of the food. It is a great experience!

Extremely friendly staff and good, safe protocols for the cats to roam around. Toys are provided to play with the cats, and treats are available upon request. You are not allowed to feed the cats from your own food, or bring in your own treats without speaking to the staff, which is a smart way to manage the cats. All cats are generally very friendly, happy to be played with and, when approaching patrons, happy to be fussed. It is not recommended to try and engage resting cats, and is not allowed to engage sleeping cats. The tables are cleaned frequently to avoid cat hair or any issues, again by the very friendly and helpful staff, keeping sanitation to a high level. Booking before hand made going in very easy. Good is good value, as are drinks, while all being of decent quality. Options were limited on breakfast menu.

Highly recommend visiting this lovely cat café. My partner and I are cat crazy, so when we finally found a cat café local to us (they all seem to be in London!) we knew we had to go. The cafe is spotlessly clean, there are plenty of toys and places for the cats to sleep, hide and play. The cats all seemed very happy and comfortable which is lovely to see. Our milkshakes were AMAZING and food was really nice too. Previous reviews mention smelling ‘cat urine’ which I find hard to believe as there was nothing like this when we came in today. Overall a great experience - the only thing that slightly let it down is the fact that children seem to have little respect for the sleeping animals and their parents / staff should intervene more. Also, you only get an hour slot and the kids there today end up getting the cats attention thus resulting in everyone else not getting a fair turn. But hey, that’s kids for you! Please if you decide to visit remind your children us adults are paying customers too and everyone needs to take things in turn. Basic manners :-)

Fantastic place to go. The food is lovely, the staff are very friendly and provide great service and the cats are awesome. I was lucky enough to have one on my lap the entire time. I didn't want to leave!

Being an animal lover I have to be honest I was super excited to be able to book/visit with my friend recently. Calming / comfortable and relaxed feeling for not only my friend and I but all the cats. Each with their own personalities which shone through. Although I should say something about how nice the carrot cake was 😁 but truth is that it was all about the cats I honestly still smiling about it hours later. Definitely going again and would recommend to all.🐈🐈🐈.

I came here today with my mum and I couldn’t fault it. Loved every second of it. Food was lovely and the lady who served us was just amazing, easy to talk to and just an all round lovely lady. Of course the star of the show was the brilliant cats. They were the sweetest cats ever super friend will happily sit on your lap and relax. My favourite would have to be pumpkin who met us at the door meowing like crazy and then hardly left our side for the whole time. Loved every second of it and I will be back but with my boyfriend next time

Absolutely fantastic place to go! The staff are super friendly as are the cats! They all have their own personalities and it's a joy to be able to come and play with them all. Food has been delicious but that's not why you come here. If you like cats this place comes highly recommended. Will definitely be coming again.

Really lovely atmosphere. Cats looked well looked after, and a few of them were even sociable with us - jumped on tables etc, which was great to see compared to some other cat cafes where the cats are scared of everyone. Some air con would be nice, if it's okay with the cats 🐈

Had a great time at Kittea Cakes! Food was delicious(I recommend the carrot cake!), cats were affectionate and playful, they are obviously well loved and cared for. Willow the beautiful snow bengal curled up on my lap for a snooze whilst I drank my coffee. We will definitely be visiting again :)
