Looking for somewhere with good hearty food before our show at the theater and came across this place. The food was amazing! And we got our hearty food. I had the Mother Clucker without tomato, with onion rings to share and sweet potato fries. My partner had the Phat Pig, without bits he didn't require in it and they were more than happy to accommodate. Reasonably priced. Not much service tbh, there is no table service here, food is brought out to your table. Food arrived quickly from when it was order, the establishment wasn't overly busy at 6.45pm on a Saturday. One thing I would say is, a large glass of wine is a bottle, be aware, and they seemed to only have Chardonnay. Didn't realise this when ordering and had some slight confusion when I received a bottle, which I was unable to finish. £10 per bottle though is a good price. Would highly recommend.

Staff are very kind and welcoming. The scenery was good and all went well. The burger itself was 8.5/10 I like that they gave you the option on how you’d like your burger cooked “medium, medium well, or we’ll done” I went for medium. For the price I’d say 10/10 £7.50 was definitely worth it

Amazing customer service with incredibly friendly staff, a unique but yet simple aesthetic. I got Rosemary fries, the big smoke burger and a Fanta. The fries had an almost perfect crispness with a accompanying heavenly fluffiness of the potatoes inside graciously seasoned delicately with salt and a generous amount of rosemary. It managed to withhold its crispness and not brown near to burn which is always a risk when to to accomplish that level of crispness. Beautiful done fries. The big smoke burger: Succulent beef patty, season very well paired beautiful with sweet red onion marmalade, bacon and lettuce which could have been better if it was iceberg for the crunch instead of a leafy/floppy lettuce. It had a good structure to the burger and was literally leaking with flavour. The bacon also could have been a bit crisper to really elevate the burger. The pickles were a hefty size which is something you don’t see very often but was a pleasant surprise if you like pickles. Overall very good quality burger which is expected for the price £8.40 but it £12.80 as a meal. A bit pricey but very worth it! The Fanta came in customised cup with a pint indicated on it which is very unique and a very nice touch. Overall a wonderful culinary experience that actually left me quite shocked of the quality of food for this somewhat overlooked restaurant on the high street of Southend. Went in with my girlfriend today and we both enjoyed thoroughly. Delicious food, good service, and fair prices. Nice clean toilets. Will definitely return! Edit: have been back a couple of times since original review with no change in quality. Delicious burgers every time.

A great find thanks to Google maps! The place is great and our meal was very good. We had the The Greedy burger and then added the LTB Beer deal add fries and a beer for £5. The other burger was Mother Clucker and again added the LTB meal deal add fries and a soft drink for £3.90. Service was quick and food was truly excellent. One to visit. 🍔🍺

Solid burger meat is real and they cooked it exactly how I asked for it. The portion of sweet potato fries was also very good it's about time you get what you pay for 💪

Had lunch there today with my son who is a vegetarian and has a nut allergy. Sahiba was extremely helpful sorting out the best meal options for him. The food was great and the service was amazing. So many thanks to Sahiba and also Atilla who was on chef duties.

I bought a cheeseburger, fries and a coke for about £12. It was decent enough for sure. Not an out-and out gourmet burger, but better than a fast food burger or one from a burger van. In fact, I'd say this place sits in that tier between McDonalds and a specialist gourmet burger place. No complaints!

This place makes amazing food! It's always a treat ordering from here, whether that is in store or via online delivery. Portions are generous and the food & milkshakes taste great. I highly recommend the Big Smoke burger.
