I would recommend to go to the south beenfleet wimpy the food is good the shop is clean the staff are friendly and if you don't believe me try it for yourself
I ordered the gourmet chicken burger which I can highly recommend. The chicken breast was a decent size (literally hanging out the burger) and not dried out. What annoyed me only slightly was that one server told us to sit wherever and my partner and I went to sit on a four person table by the window but another server then told us to sit on a two person table because "they'd just had a rush" even though at this point it was relatively quiet. Then when another couple came in they were seated at a four person table. It may seem trivial but we ordered a lot of food and could have done with the extra space!!
The place itself is a little bit tired (the toilets are not the smartest, but at least they have toilets). The staff were young but really friendly and polite - and worked really hard. It's a slightly limited menu but still a quite comprehensive choice. We were informed that there would be a wait of about an hour, but considering it was one of the Eat Out to Help Out nights that was to be expected. We were able to have out drinks while we waited so we weren't uncomfortable. The food didn't take as long as an hour so that was a pleasant surprise. The food very cooked - cooked well and decent sized portions. It's a bit expensive for a burger and chips...but it's a GOOD burger and chips. Definitely worth the price and the wait . Would happily go there again. It's got the added bonus of being on the seafront so you sort of felt like we were on holiday 🌞
We were greeted by two very happy looking staff so that kicked off well for starters. Cos of the present pandemic, I was pleased to be seated in very a clean table setting which had been socially distanced from other tables. So I was not worried about getting in close contact with other customers. The Burgers we ordered was made to perfection and service was very quick.
My only disappointment was the restroom. Just like most fast food restaurants, the restroom could benefit from a little refurb and regular cleaning.
Otherwise, I had an exceptionally pleasant experience at Wimpy and would definitely come back again.
Very noisy and very busy location, especially at night. Expect to wait up to an hour for a normal sized order. However, it's the same Wimpy fare you know and love - no complaints about the quality.
Really like this location. It’s got a great view of the seafront and out across the estuary. It’s usually quite popular. This restaurant did at one point close down but I’m glad it was saved. The only downside to the seafront location can be the very noisy cars and motorbikes that often frequent the seafront. Yet it’s also a perfect car or bike spotting location if that’s your thing
Great service, lovely food, and a nice seaside view! Just be prepared to wait more than 30 minutes for your food due to current covid-related restrictions. They're working hard to keep staff and customer safe, and I think they're doing a fantastic job!
This place was perfect even though the place was packed full of people we got our order in under 10 minutes. The staff were nice and the food was perfect . Also the food looked exactly like it did on the menu which most fast food chains dont do . Highly recommend :)
It was so yummy and nice thankyou so much for the nice food and stuf
It was quite busy and had to wait outside till a table was ready. Food was freshly cooked and we didn't have to wait to long. Staff were helpful. Only downside is holes in some seats. Needs some TLC
Good service and a nice burger. The strawberry smoothie is impeccable and I reccomend it strongly! The interior is kinda cute, a bit retro.
Not too noisy, despite bringing there dheing lunch time, so probably a generally underrated place. Price was ok, not too expensive.
The chips were chunky, so if you're one to like skinny fries, maybe skip the fries.
