I have been to this restaurant many times over the years, eating in and getting a takeaway. Never had a bed meal. The menu was changing when I last visited and some of the drinks on the menu were missing and a little limited if I'm honest. No cocktail drinks for my lady friends that were with me. Otherwise all good.
First time order. Ordered a takeaway on a Tuesday evening. Order was ready for pick up in 20 minutes.
Food was super tasty, had the Nawabi Murgh (highly recommended!), a huge chicken breast filled with lamb meat. Will definitely re-order from Ruchi. 💯
Food was great besides the lamb tikka, it was very tough. Besides that food was good and tasted really nice.
Extremely good Indian food.
Loved the Onion bhaji, Chicken curry & Chicken Biryani spicy one.

I have eaten here a few times in the last few months and the food has always been delicious. It has been quiet on the times I have been in but I tend to eat dinner earlier than most. Still surprised though, with such good food at reasonable prices and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I'll definitely be back again.
We decided to go out for a meal only to find our usual indian was closed and decided to wander up Southchurch Road to see what else to eat and found that Ruchi was open We were a little unsure as it was completely empty at the time, but decided that if we didn't give it a go, we would never know and I'm SO glad we did. They suggested that we could bring our own drinks (spa next door was handy) that saved us money on our bill, but ultimately the food food was absolutely stunning, along with the perfect service with really lovely staff, attentive, helpful and the food was the best we have had for a long time. Definately will be going back and will now become the our preferred indian restaurant that we will go to. Highly recommend. Thank you.
