Lovely and clean with great food. Just wish it was served in a bowl and not on a plate.

Having not had Pie & Mash myself for many years, and my partner never trying it before, we decided to give Robins a go. Situated just off the high street with ample paid parking available nearby, Robins is a real, traditional pie and mash shop. Staff were welcoming and friendly, food was served quickly, hot and generously portioned. The pies were excellent, full of quality mince, the mash was soft and fluffy and the liquor was very flavourful. Particularly liked the extra spicy vinegar too. Very reasonably priced, we will definitely be coming back again and would recommend Robins to others.

It's been too long since I visited a traditional pie and mash shop. If you're looking for the traditional experience, look no further! Great food, pies, mash, liquor, mug of tea, perfect!

We always visit the Wanstead branch so when we came across this one (interior looked exactly like the one in Wanstead, as did the crockery) we had to go in. The food is exactly the same as Wanstead which is perfect because we love our local. We preferred the Southend prices though!

Friendly staff, tasty pie, mash and liquor. The cold orange is just right on a hot day.

The food isn't the absolute best, but the whole experience was great. Friendly staff, enthusiastic hungry locals, uncomfortable chairs, it was all great!

Excellent pie and mash. Just popped in for a quick lunch but next time I'll get 2 pies. Extremely reasonable prices, and a good hearted manager. I'm over from California and staying in Leigh on sea but I will get a one day return train ticket very soon to have another lunch there!
