Had breakfast here today for 8.99 u get a hot breakfast and continental breakfast basically as much as u van eat. Unlimited drinks. Food was fantastic would come here again kids eat for free. 5 star food and service
Come here quite often with my family, staff always friendly nd helpful, even for my granddaughter who has several allergies, who always gets made to feel special by staff, unlike some other places that have refused to cook her anything, always lovely food, highly recommend
Excellent choice and quality for breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly and although breakfast finishes at 11 am they were still replenishing the buffet at 10.45 which is unusual.
Great food and great service, to top that lovely location, no downers on this place
Went here for a change as a lot of places are charging £15+ per head now for a sit down breakfast. This was £9.99 all in including buffet English breakfast, tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereals, toast etc. 'Continental style' also included in the £9.99 price so breads and pastries also available. Can't complain about the price and the food wasn't bad either. If your not staying in the attached hotel I would heavily recommend booking a table at least 24 hours before and not to try as a 'walk in' on the day especially if more than 2 of you.
This venue is attached to a seafront Premier Inn and certainly offers more than just the drink we enjoyed.
Danielle served us politely and promptly, we got seated outside to enjoy the sun and some people watching.
It certainly seems worthy of visiting again for dinner during the darker months!
Great all round. General manager Becky is always so welcoming, same with Anne. Staff are always friendly and willing to have a conversation with you. Love coming here on a Sunday for the carvery, David is always really cheery and goes out of his way to make conversation. All round great experience. Would recommend to anyone.
We took three grandchildren here for a meal on one of the hottest days of the year the service was fabulous and the food was delicious, although they were busy Joe took time with each of the kids when taking their order and made them all laugh. This is a very good clean, family restaurant there are also tables for outside dining.

Overal verdict for those that want a quick review: Very nice food, friendly staff and decent prices, place was clean and tidy and we'll laid out but parking is poor but there are options.
Now the details,
First time going there... Me and my partner decided to stop in for dinner one night as we hadn't been before, arrived and found it quite empty which I won't complain about as meant that the friendly staff were happy and helpful.
The menu was reasonably large and easily laid out, due to it being near Christmas they had the festive menu with the extra bits like the turkey dinner etc.
I decided to go for the festive burger (2 4oz burgers with turkey, cranberry stuffing and the usual salad tomato combo. Topped with a pig in blanket to make a nice touch :)) was very filling, not over cooked or as some larger burgers can be, it wasn't sloppy either, definitely a knife and fork burger though as was afraid of getting jaw lock if I tried to bite into it like a normal burger... My partner on the other hand had the festive smothered chicken, can't remember exactly what it was but it also had the cranberry stuffing but with bacon and chicken and bits. She also said it was very nice and going on she ate it all without complaint, I believe her as she always has something to say lol. Both of the dishes came with coleslaw and chips, a nice decent portion size of both which was good too, not too stingy like some places can be!
Price was very decent and coupled with the meerkat meals we used came to a total of £17.77 for the 2 dinners and 2 "bottomless" drinks. Incredible value in my opinion and well worth the price even without so definitly worth a visit if you are in the area looking for somewhere...
Now... The area... That brings me to my only complaint, the car park there around back is awful, we found a spot easy enough but trying to use the pay by phone was horrendous, the text was read wrong and then when trying to pay by calling they tell me it is more that as on the sign as have to pay for the operators time... Luckily the parking on the main seafront just in front of the restaurant is free from 6 so I will advise to find one of those spaces instead, and just pay at the machine or if from Southend you already use mobon then it's easy as you will know.
We have nothing but praise for the quality of service we received on an overnight stay at the Premier Inn to which this is attached.
We were sooo impressed that, even being 2 staff down, the manager Becky and bar tender Millie were alone in front of house and they were exceptional!
I've run a busy venue and know how difficult it can be even when fully staffed, so a massive thumbs up from myself and my partner to them and the kitchen staff.
Having delivered this superb service for dinner, Becky (manager) was in place with the same incredible and friendly service for our breakfast on what must have been around 4 hours sleep 😬.
The service was seamless throughout. Thank you Becky and the team!
The food was superb, to be honest we'd had a very busy day were exhausted so took the way route into the closest restaurant but honestly couldn't have got better, carvery, everything fresh, hot and delicious 😋 very cheap too
Lovely lunch for our friend Jane's birthday. This Brewers Fayre has improved tremendously and the food is delicious. Will certainly go again.
This restaurant had gone downhill but went on Tuesday for lunch and have a new chef & the food is amazing. Helpful staff Toilets need a bit of looking after as we're not as clean as could be
I had a really good breakfast here. For a tenner you can start with toast or serial. Then on a selection of sausage, egg, hash brown with beans, bacon and tomatoes plus mushrooms. Cooked well. At a tenner you would be daft not to try this place out.
