Incredibly cheap beer: £2.55 for a pint of Doombar. Great for a quick pint - very close to Southend Central station.
What a lovely experience. A beautiful building, as ways, and a particularly lovely outdoor sitting area too. Food was good and the service amazing. 😋
I mean it is a Wetherspoons so you know what your getting, was always busy which is good we stayed in the hotel had the top room very spacious and comfortable.
Lovely place to eat an drink. We also stayed the night here as was seeing Alan Carr at cliffs pavilion so only a cab ride away. Lovely service and atmosphere. The rooms upstairs were fabulous, definitely stay again if up that way. Staff were plenty and helpful.
We eat here for dinner and breakfast and standard Wetherspoons food, always good for what you pay for. We also stayed here for 1 night and would highly recommend it. Very busy Wetherspoons. Stayed in the hotel which was very nice and quiet even though the pub was jam packed downstairs. Very clean room. Comfy bed and nice rainfall shower. Would stay again.
Staff were great. It was a really busy Friday night. Polite and prompt.
Like most of the pubs in this chain. Great prices, friendly staff. There are plenty of options for food and drink. Nice big pub with outdoor seating area. Smoking and non-smoking area.

What a pair of wonderful,friendly efficient charming young men. It been a pleasure to have them help me since my foot my foot is broken and I'm on crutches... highly recommended them and think they are amazing young men.
Stayed at hotel for two nights. Was close to shopping centre, and walking distance to beach. Was clean and good value for money. They had ran out of milks for coffees etc so had to go to the bar to ask for milk, which they were happy to provide. Took a little time to check in, but there was a grou
