Stopped here for some lunch on a busy day. Food was excellent, chips were nice and my cod was cooked well with a lovely light batter. My daughters nuggets were really good and she is usually very fussy about nuggets. Service was excellent too and Jessie who served us was very helpful and really lovely.

Lovely little seaside cafe. Popped in here for lunch with the little ones and had a very nice meal. Portions are generous, service is quick and prices very reasonable. My Eggs Benedict with asparagus and crispy bacon, came out hot, well presented and tasted delicious, not sure if the hollandaise was home made but it was very good, either way. The jacket potato’s were huge, with plenty of filling and the sandwich we ordered was delicious, made with fresh, thick cut bread and good quality ham. Would certainly recommend to others and definitely intend to pop back again ourselves. Update: Their Ploughman’s are fantastic!

Absolutely delicious breakfast (i had veggie with bubble and squeak. Hubby had full english). Perfect eggs. Quick and friendly service and a great place to watch the world go by if you sit outside in the sun. Absolute bargain too. Definitely recommend this.

Easter Monday, 2022. Number 1 breakfast I've rocked up to the esplanade with a few thousand other bikers and picked this establishment as it was the first I come to - best choice I'll make all day! The sausages are well chosen - tender, flavourful and high quality, the bacon was cooked to *chef's kiss* perfection (the Achilles heel of many a greasy spoon) and the fried slice tasted like it was shallow fried (that's a hen's teeth menu item). All the ladies there were quick, efficient and seemed to be buzzing to be there today. As for the menu - it might look like a greasy spoon cafe, but I've never seen eggs Benedict on a cafe menu before... and if my meal is anything to go by, there will be no skimping on portion or quality. If I can find one little niggle, it's the fact that I live the other side of the Thames estuary from here, so I won't be able to be a regular... but as long as all concerned keep on doing what they do, I'll be happy to come in whenever I'm around.

First off, they do great fish. Fish n chips is great and very reasonably priced. And no charges for sauces, vinegar, etc. Very child friendly and the staff are really lovely. Best fish n chips I've had South of Yorkshire (where it's best on the coast, natch) and it really topped off a lovely day out to the Sealife Adventure. Highly recommended. Would go again definitely. Big shout out to the staff again! Great atmosphere.

Had a very good fry up, quality sausages, lovely bacon, couple of fried eggs, fried slice, beans, tom's mushrooms and toast. Definitely worth paying a visit if you're on the lookout for decent cooked breakfast. Other food is available by the way.
