I live in London from 9 years and frankly I was really skeptical before dinner. However, believe it or not this was by far one of the best 2 course menu I've ever had in U.K. Food quality is really above the average, portions are generous and to be fair prices aren't high at all for what you actuall

Wow. On this trip we’ve been to London, Paris, and Berlin and this was the best meal of them all. The tandoori lamb and the pavlova were perfection. The service was great and the drinks were unique. I’m shocked this little hotel restaurant was so so so good and so well priced. Highly recommend.

Had a delicious meal at lunch, the bi folding doors were open leading out to the front terrace with views of Southend seafront. Service was great. Food was absolutely delicious. If you like a fine dining experience with a sea view in Southend I would recommend a visit.
I passed this restaurant a couple of years ago and remembered it when booking a Mothers Day lunch as it looked like somewhere nice to take my mum. They had a 4 course special menu (£42) for the day so was ideal.
The outside of the hotel/restaurant needs a bit of a tidy up, there's stacked up dining

We went there last night for a muted stag do as seemed to be the only place that had tables free where we could actually have a conversation.
