Good cheap food, clean and friendly staff. The proprietor and staff are very friendly. The best thing is that despite the menu having no apparent vegan options other than baked potato and beans, one of the pasta dishes can be adapted and is probably the best thing on the menu. The pasta and vegetable source is one of the best I have had anywhere - I ask for it to be made mild rather than hot flavour it would come. It is good cheap food so do not expect anything other, but the café does the very best, the salad is basic and fresh. You can have veg that is not overcooked if you specify that which is unusual, and they will do any variation to make many vegan options. Three adapted vegan dishes pictured, and there is also a modified breakfast and baked potato. There probably is no segregation between vegan and non-vegan, so it will have some "may contains". But Hector , the owner, takes care to meet your dietary request. This café has been a nice surprise. There is power and Wi-Fi.

I work all over the country as a fencer so when we have a job over a few days/weeks its always good to find a decent cafe to kick you off in the morning. Very good food & latte’s. Would return for the quality of food.

This is very much a local cafe for local people. It's a down to earth environment and unassuming. The menu range is surprisingly broad for a set up with such a small kitchen and low number of staff. Southborough Café is more community than a to place to go 'out out.'

It’s amazing! Hector the chef took over & the first thing he faced was surviving a lockdown last March. However when his customers couldn’t reach him he reached them starting a takeaway service which he still runs today & will serve him well. The food is delicious & the presentation would put master chef to shame - we always look forward to a visit there! 10/10

Absolutely top notch slap up meal. Went with my friends for lunch with average hopes. But as soon as we went in the atmosphere of the place was lovely. The staff were very welcoming and kind and the overall feel of the place was warm and welcoming. We looked to our left and were shocked by the immense range and quality in choices. By no means is this just a place to get an all day breakfast. Heavens no, this is a place to get much much more. I personally went for a hot chocolate to accompany my chicken and bacon with mayo panini. I was speechless, it was one the best hot chocolates I think I i have ever had and think I might have to get one whenever I am in the area. The panini too was lovely and warm. The bread was soft but not too soft and the fillings were hot and flavoured nicely. To top it all off it is all reasonably priced. If you are in the area of Southborough I would definitely recommend you make a trip to the Southborough cafe. Even if you are a bit further away in tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells I would definitely venture out and make the trip for it is very much worth it.

Great value café. If you fancy a traditional fry-up and coffee for around £6 including tea or coffee, this is the place for you. :)
