I was riding my bike on the trail to Costa because I wanted a place to have a coffee and do some work on my laptop. I was turning to get on the road and saw someone walking out of this coffee shop and saw that there was a sign for wifi. I immediately pulled over and asked the kind staff if I was able to have a coffee and do work here. They are so nice and friendly! There are lots of people here with their dogs and frequently a staff member goes around giving the dogs treats and head rubs. The music is quite nice as well. They take credit card 💳 which is nice. This has to be my new coffee spot 😀

It's really nice and food is excellent. 4 starts for service and atmosphere just because you need to wait in a long cue for the toilet and is unfortunately only 1 unisex (but very clean).

Lovely spot for a bite to eat or coffee! The decaf coffee was nice! Dog friendly. Would definitely Recommend a visit if near by. Good food for a reasonable price 😊

Stopped here today for coffee and croissant while we were on a bike ride. Very nice indoor cafe but as sunnny we sat outside looking over the river. Will make this a stop off point when in the area.

It's the best coffee in Soton not to mention the immediate locality. Impeccable service and tasty (mostly) vegan finger food - plus delicious meaty/non-vegan rolls on the wkend. (I had the lamb and mint roll - highly recommend!) Grab and go for a nice walk along the river, or stay in a warm, energetic, homely space where anyone (classed as dog or human) is super welcome.

This café is an absolute gem! We often pop in with our dog (who now automatically turns to walk into the café when we walk past!) and the staff are always so friendly and cheerful. Our dog is always offered a little biscuit by them which is a lovely touch. There's a really good range of tasty food which can be enjoyed by the side of the river on a summer's day which is blissful. Alternatively there's indoor seating for the colder days. 5/5 our favourite coffee spot (verified by the dog)! 🐕

Cute little spot tucked away in riverside park. Had coffee and eggs Florentine which were both delicious. Lovely outdoor sitting area, would come back again! Only wished they wouldn’t use disposable plates & cups for patrons dining in :(

Gem of a place for a great coffee and food. Ideal for breakfast or home made snacks, the hearty monterous sausage rolls vary in flavours each visit, I recommend the marmite and cheese!

Lovely find. Excellent location, outdoor seating and views of the river. Paper plates and cups, wooden cutlery, the only plastic was the lids to the cups, so huge kudos from an environmentally friendly perspective! We had a halloumi and avocado foccacia, and the waffle with sausage and bacon - they were both very tasty, but quite inconsistent size for items of the same price, so we did not feel that this was good value for money. My partner also tried the chilli and coriander sausage roll (still hungry after the waffle), which he thought was very original and interesting. The honeycomb cheesecake and the chocolate orange cake were both excellent, and a must-have! We would visit again, but we definitely feel that the prices were a bit on the expensive side.

Lucky find after our walk today at Riverside Park. This is a very dog friendly cafe with friendly staff situated in an old mill by the River Itchen. Nice selection of snacks and drinks. Will definitely be going back. Menu attached as of March 2023. Free car parking over the road at Riverside Car Park, which is amazing for Southampton.

What a wonderful place to stop for a drink and something to eat. The Coffee Kitchen is in an old wood mill perched between the River Itchen and the Itchen Navigation. Sit out in the garden and watch the river flow. The cakes are delicious, the sandwiches and baps are packed with wonderfully tasty naughtiness 🤗. The staff are great, efficient, friendly and really helpful. Go for a riverside walk up to Mannsbridge or down stream to the Riverside park....a great place to be....thanks Woodmill Coffee Kitchen..... I'll be back!!!! 🤗

Since being on maternity leave this little place has become a godsend on my daily walks! I love popping in for a bit of solo brekkie or an iced coffee on the go. Food is of an excellent standard and is absolutely delicious! Because my partner loves their choccie orange cake so much the lovely staff here allowed me to order a whole one as a birthday cake! He is over the 🌙 with it! Thankyou xx

Wonderful breakfast whilst camping at Woodmill Activity Centre. Sausages were quality. Waffles were yummy. Great service from the South African sounding gentleman and the chef with the beard. Now we know that you are there we will certainly be back!
