Wonderful restaurant with great service. Amazing food . Steak was cooked perfectly. Staff did not rush us to eat or pester us during the meal . Would definitely recommend and will definitely book a meal here again
I cannot stress enough how delicious the food was. I highly recommend their steaks and the pigeon breast as a starter! The atmosphere was nice and the waiters were very polite. They made sure everything was okay.
An impressive restaurant with tasty quality dishes. The nibbles were delicious especially the beef croquettes and the charcoal arancini.
The fillet steak was great quality and full of flavour, the wagyu burger was also delicious.
Very friendly service from Liam and Camilla welcoming us with a drink on the house for our anniversary a very thoughtful touch.
Overall a great experience and definitely recommend.
I’ve always wanted to go to Porters for dinner but never got round to it. So we bit the bullet and did a family trip. Tonight was amazing!
We we’re served by Liam, who was very attentive and lovely. He helped us decide on which steaks to have, and drinks also.
Prices were very reasonable and perfect for the food you got. Every steak was cooked perfectly. All our compliments to the chef.

Best steak in Southampton for sure. The dry aged steaks have a brilliant meaty taste to them and come in generous portions. Perfect for a special occasion!
Highly recommend Porters Steakhouse, from the food being amazing to the staff going above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect! We had a table of 30 for a birthday event and not one thing was wrong everything was organised and we could not fault any of the food!! All staff members were lovely, we will definitely be back!
Very nice and polite staff and quality surroundings. If I could fault in what I've have been told is the best roast in Southampton, I'd say the gravy wasn't thick enough, not enough vegetables and the potatoes a little under done plus not crispy enough. It was still great, but a few adjustments and it could indeed be the greatest.
best roast dinner I ever had! Hannah’s service also on point, highly recommend! shame I live in Northampton, but the place is worth travelling for so I will try to be back!

We have been here twice and we have already booked a third. The food is something else, the dry aged steaks are incredible, I've never tasted flavours like it! The cocktails were really good, so refreshing. Liam was our server this time and he was amazing 👏 He was very attentive and answered every question we had ( sorry about all the questions! ) He made us feel very well looked after! We are looking forward to coming back for the rib steak 😊
Ellis and Liam made our experience the best! They truly care about their customers dining experience and the food is absolutely delicious! Strongly recommend this as a must eat place while in Southampton.

We visited from Margate and had a really wonderful meal last night the good was excellent, service was excellent, the restaurant was clean, absolutely five star 🌟 service. Would highly recommend!
Wow, just wow! Starting off with a couple of espresso martinis ( just perfect, not too sweet, just as we asked for) We had the special of the day (dry aged dairy sirloin) and followed the chef’s recommendation, which was spot on. Absolutely delicious! The sides were amazing, too - highly recommend the macaroni and cheese with truffles - it is to die for! The recommendation of wine was spot on, too, it just makes a difference when the waiter really has the knowledge and can give you their educated opinion! We can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Southampton!
