Loved the food. It was good price for the food. Quality of the food was excellent. We loved all the dish that we ordered.
Chicken momo - Freshly made with so juicy.
Kids favourite and to their taste was Chicken grill garlic starter.
Beautifully authentic and tasty food everytime we’ve been there. Service is excellent. They adjust dishes to your preference. Special thanks to Raj for being an amazing host tonight❣️
Picked this restaurant because of its good reviews, and we were NOT disappointed. Excellent food, great service, very clean and nice ambiance, even down to the 80's music! Will definitely be coming again before our next cruise. We live on Anglesey so can't order a takeaway, but would if we could. Highly recommended!
First time I've been and it won't be long before I'm back.
Courteous and attentive service, the food was excellent, and even the music was great. Very reasonably priced too.
Do pick from the Nepalese menu rather than the more familiar Indian dishes, you definitely won't regret it. 😉
We dined here yesterday - a family of six.The food was amazing.Staff are great, very friendly and go over and above to ensure every meal is perfect.
We will definitely return- we were planning our next visit as we left !
Highly recommend.
The restaurant surprised me with its atmosphere, friendly service, tasty food served on hot plates and platters. Chicken in korma, tikka, tikka masala melted in your mouth, salad with yoghurt and cucumber - delicious, I highly recommend it, for the whole family for dinner
We came here for the first time since we found out they serve authentic Nepalese dishes. We enjoyed every bite of it! The Chicken Choila was amazing! Highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to go back
The food was absolutely excellent, a great variety and very interesting types of dish. We were a big group, but the service and attention were extremely efficient. Raj was very helpful and communicative when I was arranging it with him. Highly recommend.
Love the food and tailored to our taste. We called early in the morning and requested for goat 🐐 curry which is not on the menu and they brilliant accommodate that for us and the yummy 😋 Best food I had in a very long time 💯 👌🏾
Fantastic Nepalese and Indian food. My family, including two young kids, enjoyed the garlic naan, Chicken tikka masala, Lamb Biryani and Monk Fish Curry.
The chef and team, including Raj, were friendly and hospitable.
Would recommend this place for people looking to try or enjoy Nepalese and Indian comfort food.
The starters were tummy filling, so couldn't finish the main dishes. All the dishes were very good. It seems, they HAVEN'T USED any colours in t foods. It's a really good habit. Quantity also good enough. I would need to come again and try some different dishes to understand the consistency of their quality. Will try again in the coming weeks.

Delicious curries! The Naan Bread is soft and fluffy.
We had the Royal Tawa, Sherpa Chicken, Garlic Naan and Pilau Rice.
Will be eating from here again.
I ordered two main dishes...Himalyan Curry (chicken) and Ginger Duck. Duck really soft, very rich taste sauce. Himalyan curry-typical curry flavor. You need try also starter Aloo Cheese Tikki. I've never had better mashed potatoes. All yummyyyyy as always, thank you
To owner....
OMGGGGG Raj.......DELICIOUS but at the moment we cant move our ass🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great flavour, clean food. Wide selection of dishes, of the 10 I tasted all were great.
Polite and attentive staff, prompt service.
Would specifically recommend among Southampton Indian restaurants.
Edit: Ordering out from this restaurant went great
Very friendly, accommodating, staff and very good Indian food.
Only ourselves and one other table in use when we visited (hence 4 rather than 5* for atmosphere), but I understand from a friend they can get very busy depending on what time you go. The bonus of being quiet was the service was quick and excellent.
Street parking only, to my knowledge.
Would recommend.
As 5 weary and famished travellers dismounted their bicycles in search of a local establishment to aid their replenishment, they deliberated between the local Indian cuisines of Portswood. After initially being enticed by the low-cutting deals of Manzils curry house, one of my companions was adamant that we must take solace with the slightly more dear Gurkha Lounge, which in fairness, stood out with its large and appetising menu.
A starter of popadoms didn’t fail to impress, with delicately light pops accompanied with 3 flavoursome well balanced dips.
Swift arrival of the mains was impressive, but even this couldn’t match the flavour cascade which followed. To describe the taste….words fall short, each main delivered highly, along with luxurious garlic naans and pilua rice on piping hot plates, Not disappointed! We even finished with hot towels and after eight dinner mints accompanied by a beaming smile from the head curry merchant.
As the night came to a close after having enjoyed several great main dishes, my Irish companion leant to me and offered one of his most appropriate Irish proverbs given the situation - “ laughter is brightest where food is best” and I smiled.
If only our bikes didn’t get stolen
Service was amazing from door to table food was the best Indian food we have ever tasted
Was a bit reluctant to try some were new but so happy we did def recommend and return 😬
Lovely restaurant in the heart of Bevios Valley. Our dishes were delicious - happy to recommend
