The Fountain 'carvery And Grill' - Southampton - Photo album

We went to the Fountain Court tonight for a meal after recommendations from a friend. We had the carvery. It was delicious. Will definitely be going back. The staff are so lovely and attentive. OK the hotel is a bit run down but look past that. We'll worth a visit.
After the reviews on here we were a little worried about what to expect upon arrival, however despite its exterior we were pleasantly surprised. The owners were friendly and accomodating with our requirements. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not included in the price, but you had
Popped in for breakfast and was truly amazed at how professional and welcoming the staff were. Even though it was 5 minutes before the end of breakfast the staff went out of there way to make sure fresh bacon, eggs, hash browns and other condiments where made fresh for the all you can eat serving ha
I stayed here for one night and found the staff very helpful and friendly. There was no evening meal available but breakfast has to be ordered the night before by 8.30 pm. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and promptly served at my desired time. The room was small but very comfortable, clean
2 of us stayed for 2 nights last week. Hotel lovely. Obviously had been a plush Victorian Hotel in the past and is being restored by new owners. A bit faded, but getting there. Friendly people. Shame that the bar and breakfast are next door and a separate company but still worth staying.
My husband and I have just had a 3 day break at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thelma and Colin were fantastic hosts and made you feel very welcome. It is in need of a little updating, I must admit, but was informed that it's work in progress. Keep up the good work 😊
Just been to the medium event evening for Halloween, including a 3 course meal and a medium experience for a extremely reasonable price with the work team, was a great excuse to get out the house and the whole bar team were attentive and respectful under the circumstances of covid-19.
What a wonderful peace haven. A night spent outside of reality. Beautiful ornate decor. If you can see past a little renovation that due you will settle into an absolute gem of a place... run by special people who take the time to accommodate your needs and make your time special. Will definately
Friendly staff. Room was very comfortable and warm. Good sized ensuite bathroom, room generally well decorated with flat screen TV and Tea/Coffee making facilities. Well positioned to Hythe / Dibden Purlieu and New Forest.
Beautiful and very old boutique hotel. The rooms are nice and cozy and well heated in the winter. Antique style. Management is very friendly and helpful. Recommended and will definitely stay here again.
