What a fantastic st Patrick's day x thank you for a great evening of celebration x
From the outside this place looks like a bit of a dump. But then you see the Angel hanging off the side of the wall above the door ( a bit like Kate Winslet in Titanic on the end of the ship). Inside this pub really isnt even much to look at to be honest, but then you meet the landlord, and the staff, and the regulars. And what a great bunch they are! Its more of a alternative pub i would say. Full of goths, punks, emos, alts, and weirdos :). The Angel has such a great atmosphere, with its on cocktail menu, cheap drinks. They also do fun nights, fancy dress nights, kareoke, the whole she-bang. And ill tell you what, its a bloody good laugh :D
8 Girls on 'Hens on Tour' & '30th Birthday Celebrations', the usual place along the road on the 'Girls Day Out' had changed into a Corner Shop. Local's place, friendly Staff & Local's, they joined in our fun as if we had all known each other for sometime. One even asked if we could come every Saturday!
Will definitely be a place we will visit on our next 'Girls Day Out' in Southampton.
It was the BEST Burger ever i’ve had!
I didn’t know there was so beautiful and huge pub in Southampton, it was quite big and so comfortable atmosphere. If you want to feel any company then you should go there.
Also i really surprised one more time with the burger indeed.. I haven’t had imagine i can eat like this Amazing Burger in a pub, but i heard the host invented this sauce by themselves, and it is Totally Fantastic!!
Definitely i do highly recommend you to visit and try the burger here, also the host was amazingly kind!!
And the interior was also very unique, i enjoyed everything includes the game machine, i had so much great time with my friends. :)
Hopefully everyone does enjoy here and I will definitely visit here again soon & much appreciated to the hosts for the warm serving for me!!
Great pub. Great live music on the weekend. New landlords are really welcoming.

Great fun atmosphere, friendly staff. The food is excellent and the portions are out of this world for the value.
Great pub, and also a brilliant place to socialise with other students. Decent prices, too - never have I gone and *not* ordered some nuggets and chips.
Staff are also really friendly, always a good chat. Certainly more of a quirky vibe going on, with their 3D printing and occasional film, but that's the charm of this place!
To expand on my experience, the staff were very conscious of our health and safety. They were also friendly and were able to provide an alternative dish when the food I ordered was out of stock for no extra charge. I like the atmosphere and am excited to visit again :D
Awesome little place, cheap drinks, nice space and they offer a small menu. They have a stage for music and live acts, jukebox, and booths for a little more privacy.
Had a good time seeing Kinesis 4 and Zen Juddhism there!
Lovely pub and has recently become our new local. Amazing staff/owners, wide variety of drinks and cheap house doubles! Also offers some food options and tonne of activities during the week!

Being honest they were advertising a job on fb & my daughter was interested so we went there to see what is was like and to get a feel of the place. as soon as we walked in we were greeted and made to feel welcome, we had a drink and their famous Nuggies & chips and wow they were sooo nice, felt totally stuffed after. Good music not to loud and stuff were helpful and very pleasant. Definitely worth a vist!
Honestly the best pub I have ever been too! Not only is there cheap drinks and amazing food but the staff are so nice and lovely. Each time I go in there I feel so welcomed and you can tell the owners really care about this pub and want to make it fun. I recommend this pub to anyone whos in Southampton!
The staff are friendly and helpful the food is always great I like the layout and the 3D models that is around the pub I say it is autism friendly because it never to loud. It is always funny when the the toy gun is out and shoot at me at my mate
Cold but entertaining. Great customer service and the best burger and chips I have had in a long time. Games and pool available as well as a ps4 to play and music box. Will be going back.. oh parking is a nightmare to but I don't drive so I'm happy lol
