I went for a family meal, and im not one for socialising with the family, however the layout was refreshing and a family joint, yet still up beat. Then the meal was amazing, i couldnt eat it all in the benefical way, as i got to take the rest home for whenever. Not to mention as ig you cant tell i had a lovely meal and a lovely time. ��
Amazing food and plenty of choice. Staff were helpful and polite and the new refurbishment looks great! Would definitely recommend a visit 👍🏻

Popped in today and was pleasantly met by warm welcoming staff behind the bar had nice Quick and easy transaction found a table straight away and no queuing for the carvery. Food was amazing as I have always found it in there plenty on offer to choose from. Will definitely be returning

Very good service at the bar and the food brought to our table.
The vegetable selection is really good, really enjoyed the roast potatoes. The meet was tender, would be nice if pork was also on the menu.
Our son had a chicken burger which he really enjoyed, the chips did taste the greatest.
I have the pizza which i felt could have been cooked a little longer.
Went for the breakfast, good selection available and all hot and fresh, coffee is lovely. Staff were friendly and keeping busy. Only let down is the toasters which if used once don't toast enough and send bread for a second go and it burns.
the staff were so very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I had reserved a table and we were seated in a quiet corner. We each had a carvery and the food was delicious. The beef was especially good.
Went to the Alma for Christmas day lunch with a family of 11.
We were greeted by very friendly, attentive, happy staff.
The service was excellent, and everything served promptly, but there was no rush.
The meal , I have to say, was excellent. Starters, carvery, and dessert, all delicious.

It has always been a really nice meal here at The Alma (The Alamo as I like to call it!) and never had many complaints, even through help out to eat out the team here did an excellent job. Kudos goes to Ben, we have been coming here for years and he has always been so hospitable, super friendly and efficient. You revisit places because of the food, but the excellent customer service always goes a long way.
After passing this place all the time we finally decided to give it a go. We've now been here 3 times in a week! Delicious food good atmosphere, very friendly helpfully staff. Really impressed. Good prices too. 👍
Had a lovely meal today. Lizzie and Casey were great, really helpful. Great customer service which is rare to see these days. Look forward to going back soon
I booked for our Keep Fit group and we all had the Festive Menu. I received excellent service from my initial booking phone call to paying the final bill. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful especially with a dietary requirement. We were served very promptly after our arrival and couldn’t fault any of the courses we received. Thank you so much , you made our Christmas Meal so special.

We went to the Alma Inn on Sunday for some food.
As usual the food was great, the place was busy but not too busy.
We had one lovely girl called Lizzy who we often see working behind the bar. She brought our drinks over and she had her usual cheery aura about her. She's always so polite, always asks if there's anything else she can help with, always makes a fuss of my little girl and just has this vibe about her that is so welcoming, even when she's rushed off of feet. She is one of the reasons we like going there. Just felt like she should be recognised.

From picking our table the service was great . Clean friendly restaurant and staff . The food was very hood (4 empty plates ). The price was reasonable too . Will return .
Carvery and kids chicken dippers were great. Hot porker burger patties were average tasting. Only problem we had was waiting 20+ mins for my daughters brownie dessert. I had to remind the staff before we actually got it.
Been here once before a couple of years ago and was very impressed with my visit but forgot to leave a review, today came back here with my children for a meal which was amazing the service is great, the food amazing and such a family friendly pub which goes above and beyond other establishments.
If your passing and want a 5 star hygiene meal which is fresh and delicious make sure you stop by and leave a great review for these aswell.
