The cafe is really spacious, with chairs or sofas (and cafe tables, dining tables or coffee tables) to choose from, above the bustle but with views over Portswood Road, and the staff are very friendly.
Always good prices and great staff on hand to help.
The park outside is very helpful as well.

Ample parking spaces in their car park with easy access. The shopping area is spacious and the food provisions Inc food from different parts of the world. My favorite bread is their own brand of multi seeded loaf costing only £1.65/loaf 🍞 Thank you Sainsbury. You remain one of the best choices for food purchases! 🙂

Excellent superstore, amazing variety of products. They have several different international sections and it is possible to find both fresh produce and other products from Eastern, Middle East, Asia, Caribbean, South Africa. Just mind the amount of time you spend there, as the parking is limited to 2h.
One of my favourites ,well stocked ,clean and the team is wonderful. My only objection has to do with the toilets as they seem a bit of ,but could be due to the area (in terms lot's of people use them?)

There are vast range of collections available, very good supermarket with many more isles and sections stocked up with lots of good and best products.
The sainsbury supermarket provides nectar points which can be collected on purchases by scanning your nectar card. Based on the points you can claim rewards and also nectar points works with other partnership stores as well.
It's very convenient to the location surround portwood area, Bitten park, waitrose, etcetera.
There are amazing offers at many occasions, never miss them because it's more affordable to buy at correct time.
They also offere online services which are useful to get notified about the combos and offers.
If you are looking for good quality products then sainsbury is one of the best stores you can visit and they are stocked up with new products everyday.
The customers service is quite amazing and wonderful maintenence with precise supervision, The staff members are really friendly and will help to find any products and will guide us on the product's allergens.
To give a overall rating I'll give them 10 / 10, I'm really happy with their cleanliness, stock management and availability of the store at everytime I visited to purchase something and I always find the expected products.
Sainsbury's Portswood....Friendly place to shop, disability access, available mobility aids, toilet access, free parking, large lifts available from underground carpark to shopping floor area's. Two cash machines, the café is now open with a reduced menu selling only snacks with hot or chilled drinks. The hot counter is now selling a reduced selection of hot food.
01.10.20 At both entrance's you are now welcomed by a member of staff who can issue you with a free face mask if you forgot your own.
