Lovely friendly and helpful staff.
Sushi and bento box was delicious but the noodles were average to poor to be honest. The brisket was very fatty, and the sweet & sour chicken overly sweet and chewy.
Would definitely go back for the sushi! Portions were very good value for money too.
Always have a super nice time when I come to co-sushi, whether it's just a cute little dinner with my husband or having sushi with a group of friends. They have a great range of food including hot food, everything is fresh and the teas are delicious.
Also I've ordered to my home via über loads and the quality is as good as in store and always gets here quickly, well wrapped never leaked.
Having recently visited CoSushi, I must commend the truly tasty sushi they serve. The variety of flavors and freshness of ingredients are particularly noteworthy. However, I'd like to offer a few observations that could further enhance the dining experience.Firstly, concerning the decor, while the food is exceptional, the interior doesn't fully capture the essence of a Japanese dining space one might expect for sushi. The lighting seems out of sync with the style, and a small change in this aspect could greatly improve the overall ambiance, inviting guests in from outside. I suggest incorporating large, appetizing food graphics on the walls near the cashier. Not only would this catch the eye of passersby, but it could also increase foot traffic.
Additionally, a change in the color scheme from blue, purple, and pink, which don't harmonize well, could be considered.Another point is about warming dishes. Using a microwave, though practical, means the sound of the timer can be heard in the dining area, potentially disrupting the culinary experience of guests. I recommend exploring alternative warming methods, like bain-maries, which would be less intrusive acoustically.
I hope these constructive suggestions will contribute to the further development of CoSushi, benefiting both the owners and customers. I'm convinced that with these minor adjustments, the restaurant can become even more popular.
My new favourite place! Friendly staff, very flavourful food, big portions and at a fair price. I recommend the Korean beef stew with noodles.
Update:
Still an amazing place, highly recommend!
Had beef brisket today and it was literally so good. Affordable price, convenient location and super friendly service would definitely come back next time I’m in Southampton!
Food service and atmosphere is all subjective isn’t it. However, great food, portion size just right for a very decent lunch, great service. Atmosphere, calm and welcoming. Absolutely knocks Burger King and similar fast food places for six
Spent £41 for two bento boxes, a salmon platter, and a crunchy roll - no conveyor belts to pay for. Lunch and dinner sorted!
The quality of the sushi and it’s craftsmanship is excellent. Well done 👍🏼
Very pleased with the big portions too!
10/10 best chicken catsu in southampton would definitely recommend. Waiter was cutecand super helpful. Will be back
I asked for extra spicy spicy beef Japanese noodle soup it wasn't overly spicy but taste amazing ( I love spicy food so this could be too spicy if you like mild - med spice ) my first time trying this kind of food will be Def going there again freshly made with fresh ingredients overall yum !!!
Popped in for lunch on a Saturday, fast and friendly service! Sushi platter tasted great for my common person taste buds, but my friend who's a Japanese food enthusiast commented that the sushi rice could've been seasoned more. Comfy little place for a quick bite when in town :)
My go to place whenever I crave for comfort food. Price is decent for its serving portion and the staffs are all friendly! Must try .
It's ok place! Was 2 times order sweet and sour chicken and tiryaki. Tiryaki was better. Big portions and it's not expensive. Milk tea no recommend :(
I go here quite regularly and have tried almost everything on the menu. It's quite an enjoyable food experience.
For those who are looking to have good, fresh and affordable sushi - definitely give this place a try. They make them fresh in-store and there are different variations available, whether the 'traditional' sushi like fish on rice and different maki; or if you want western fusion like the spicy salmon.
Even their main dishes are tasty! I personally like the curry, their noodles and the rice bowls that they offer. I always like eating there when I can for lunch. Literally had their noodles today since it's raining out. The flexibility of choice is welcoming since not everyone enjoys fixed menus. Plus it allows you to control what you want to intake.
Plus, supporting independent businesses is much better than chains. So just support your local noodle place!!
Delicious sushi served with a smile. One of the best takeaway sushi places I've eaten in the UK.
Really fresh, rice was perfect. The only thing I missed was no pickled ginger in my sushi box.
Slightly more expensive than others but worth every penny
Fantastic food, amazing value and friendly staff. Would highly recommend, especially the delicious bento boxes!
Plenty of veggie options and they cater for allergies too :)
