Very Happy with the food from here. Have come here my self to collect the takeaway. Food has always been amazing. Tastes great , good quantity as well . The staff’s at the counter are always very friendly. My personal favourite is Vegetable noodles and chicken in black bean sauce. A must try !!
Good food, excellent service, hard to fault. I order from Happy Wok occasionally and usually straight after work. The food is consistently spot on, delivered rapidly and good value in my opinion. They take note of special instructions and the one time my order had an item missing (today), they called me back and quickly delivered a replacement. I was really happy with the service for correcting a small issue. I don't understand the negative reviews on here as I have always had an excellent experience with Happy Wok and will keep ordering from them. I was initially attracted by their food hygiene rating of 5, which they still have and is worth bearing in mind too.
Delicious food and super friendly service. They were also really accommodating with vegetarian and vegan options! They noticed we had an all veggie order and asked rather than just giving us prawn crackers which we really appreciated as it showed they understood what is/isn’t veggie! Will definitely order again :)
The negative reviews simply aren't true. After seeing someone on Instagram post about how good they are, I decided to try it, no regrets at all. Freshly cooked food, they delivered it before the time which is great. Highly recommend.
Always very quick delivery even though my place can be hard to find. Great, tasty food and always get freebies - prawn crackers, spring rolls and fortune cookies!
I've ordered from here twice and both times I've been impressed with the food!
It's not incredibly cheap but I'd say you get what you pay for with happy wok, and that is higher quality. Orders arrive quickly (placed through a third-party website) and the food is hot and tasty. Their portion sizes are also just right for sharing.
We love the food here and have done for ages. The kung po is just how I like it, good chow mein, and brilliant mixed hors d'oeuvres! The only problem is delivery can take a crazy long time sometimes. We have been compensated before if that is the case, which is nice of them, and the guy was lovely on the phone, but when you're hungry, you're hungry!
I think all these one star reviews about terrible food are a bit nuts tbh given that we have never had a problem.
Ordered food here on Monday night (Remembrance Day) using the Just Eat app. Arrived earlier than originally said which was good but the food was not what I ordered and there was items missing. Apparently it was a mixup between the App and the Restaurant. Managed to get ahold of Happy Wok and they were brilliant in helping sort it out. They really take care of you, go above and beyond and I will be ordering from them again. Thank you
*** October 2020 update** This place has changed and while it's still good, it's not as good as it was. The satay chicken tastes no where near what it did :(

Love this place! It's our favourite Chinese. Nothing we've ordered has been a disappointment, but the satay chicken is so good. I'm going to go there and say the best in Southampton. It definitely fills the void left behind from Old Town's satay chicken (RIP!). Our personal favourites (other than satay chicken)- salt and pepper chips, salt and pepper chicken and the bao buns.
Our go-to chinese takeaway, portion sizes are decent and always tastes good! The satay sauce is simply the best I've ever had!
I ordered some food from this restaurant and was a bit sceptical initially. However, I was surprised and I am happy with the food: the portions are large and the food is tasty. I made a request on my order and the restaurant honoured my request. The delivery man was friendly. Overall, I enjoyed the food.
