Popped in today, great ice cream at a great price as always, I had a waffle cone with chocolate, cherry, mint choc chip and butterscotch. Loved it, been visiting for 35 years, always great service, friendly staff, always made to feel welcome. See you again soon .

I absolutely love taking my children along to Carlo's. You can sense straight away there is a great family feel to the place and a pleasant atmosphere.
Our kids love the variety of ice cream flavours on offer and the customer service is always excellent from all of the staff.
We love the animals out in the garden and they really are in a picture perfect setting too.

When I and the wife were first dating she took me to Carlos for ice cream and it's now become a regular place for myself. Ice cream itself is amazing and the flavours are just awesome. Love the fact the flavours are different on each days and trying out new stuff like the twix flavour last year yum.
As i'm not originally from the area when ever I have friends or family visiting Carlos is always on the list of places to visit/take them. New Forest Ice Cream has nothing over Carlos. If I could i'd take some ice cream back to my home town with all the other goodies I take back from Hampshire.
Staff have always been friendly and lovely. Great to see youngsters getting a chance to get some work experience.
My daughter had been trying to get me there for ages but I dnt normally eat ice cream. So when she asked me again I thought I can't be rude and agreed I would go .I really enjoyed the ice cream and the cherry milkshake .my husband on the other hand loves ice cream and had two large pots vanilla is amazing defently recommend
Carlos gave me my first ice cream when I was 8 months old at my nan and grandads in his ice cream van, so made sure my children had their first ones here too!! Lovely staff, lovely setting and amazing ice cream, much better then gelato!
I love this place many memories as a child always a warm welcome and the ice cream is to die for carry on the good work.

We love this ice cream and miss it a lot now we live in Devon but when we come to visit we always take a cool box full back with us of every flavour that day �x
So we visited Carlo's Ice as my other half used to go there years ago when he was younger. It was absolutely worth it, tucked away and clearly popular. The ice cream is brilliant, it was a little busy, but expected as the sun was shining and it was a Sunday afternoon. The garden area is lovely for if you have a dog with you and for the children they have guinea pigs and rabbits to look at. The baby guinea pigs and rabbits were the cutest thing! Will definitely pop in again when in the area.
First time I've been back here since I moved to Kent in 2018. Lovely to see Carlos busy and as good as ever. Carlos is a Hampshire institution, Hampshire wouldn't be the same without it. I'm now a 50something and as a kid we would wait for Carlos ice-cream van to come round with what is the best ice-cream ever!!!! The ice-cream is still as good (I wish they had butterscotch on, truly the king of ice-cream). If you visit Hampshire and not go to Carlos then you have sorely missed out. Long may Carlos reign.
Hattie was an excellent waitress, we loved everything she did. It wasn’t too busy, but there was a great atmosphere. The bubblegum monster shake followed by a juicy bacon sandwich was a perfect start to a winters day.
Three of us went for lunch. Two of my friends had the special of the day beef casserole (which looked and smelt amazing) and the other had a bacon, brie and cranberry panini. I had the broccoli and Stilton soup which was absolutely delicious! The desserts were just as delicious. Highly recommend!
Called them up and asked them to bring the van to my work for ice creams. They were more than happy to help and the ice cream is very very nice and so are the staff
Arrived just after 2pm on bank holiday Monday. Busy for ice cream. Cafe had no one waiting so ordered tea and a full roast dinner.
Great staff. Tea arrived in minutes. Food 15 minutes. Worth waiting for too.
Been a customer for over 20 years and I visit each fortnight with my daughter as we both love Carlo's. Tony is an extremely polite gent.
It's been about 30 years since I've been there, so there's been a few changes! I don't know if it's still run by members of the same family, but the ice cream is still wonderful. I had a strawberry milk shake, and my wife had the bonoffe split. Both wonderful!

Lovely little place. Type of place you will drive past and go "oh, i remember there is a really nice ice cream place nearby" and then you'll go and get ice cream.
Popped in for an ice cream on a lovely sunny day. A unique tasting ice cream! 😋 Very fair prices. Have to spend over £5 to use card, however. Plenty of outdoor seating. Love the small animals out back, great for the children.
Very lovely family business. Wide variety of options and freshly made ice cream.
It would be improved if there were clearer menu options. We couldn't see the options until quite close to the front of the queue and it was then difficult to explain the choices.
A dairy free ice cream would make this place pretty much perfect!
