Delicious Thai tapas meal with friends. Beautiful atmosphere, very cosy. We definitely ordered far too much for 3 people but we wanted to try everything! The portion size of each tapas dish is perfect to share for 3-4 people. The ribs were outstanding! The cocktails are delicious too. The cococabana colada was yum!

This is a great little restaurant. We went as a group of 5 so had the Thai tapas. We ordered one of everything other than the tofu and greens and everything was delicious. About 3 dishes per person worked out perfectly for dinner. Usually when you get tapas there's inevitably a weak dish but not here! The service was also excellent. We had two waiters who were both wonderful and they earned every penny of their tip. We thought the restaurant was also very well priced too. We will come again!

Amazingly warm welcome on arrival and seated quickly with menu’s even though we arrived a little early. Food and drinks were offered and advice was given when we asked for it. We ate from the vegetarian and the meat menu. Could not fault anything we ate or drank and great service kept it all coming. We would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone and we will come back. Recommend arriving before 6pm for the 2 cocktails for £12.

What a fantastic place, my partner has wanted to dine here for a while. A lovely restaurant with gorgeous Thai food. A great selection of Thai food we decided on the red and green curry and what a great decision that was absolutely delicious. The Tom Yum seasoned fries were great. The décor was wonderful and authentic and the atmosphere although extremely busy was great and we were unaware of the other diner's The staff were wonderful and accommodating and extremely helpful in making our dining choices. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to sample fantastic Thai food. We can't wait to return and try some of the other selections of foods on offer.

The service was excellent, and the food, especially the superb cocktails and long drinks, they have left a lasting impression. We opted for the Tahi Tapas menu, indulging in chicken pandan, crispy dim sum, not duck spring rolls and spare ribs, all of which were truly superb, the ribs are probably the best I have ever had well recommended. The cocktails were not only super tasty but also beautifully presented. Without a doubt, this place has become one of my all-time favorites.

Really cool venue with some great food. It was very busy, and we were seated just after a large group which meant service was a little on the slow side. I'm not marking them down for this tho as the staff did apologise and our server Beth was a complete star. Definitely recommended.

Was a lovely setting and our host Cyril/jack was really attentive, funny and gave excellent service. The food was good and the cocktails were lovely. The only negative were the toilets, there was no hand wash at any point through the evening, and wet toilet paper all across the floor on the entrance to the ladies and all around the sink area. The actual toilets etc were clean. Was a very busy night so likely just overlooked and the only reason for 4 not 5 stars. Other than that would highly recommend.

We visited Mango Thai tapas multiple times. The fact they have vegan options too on the menu is fantastic and the food tastes fantastic. The mocktails are fabulous too. Will definitely coming back again.

Visited this lovely little find last night , from the moment we entered the staff could not be more welcoming to us. We sat upstairs in a lovely room at the front of the restaurant, the decor was very fitting. As soon as we sat down a lovely lady called Erin served us , nothing was too much trouble for her , she was very knowledgeable , she is a credit to this restaurant. We could not fault the food at all it was all so tasty . If I was ever near this area again I would love to come back .

Expensive food. Mushrooms are very spicy!! Small dishes, but recommend at least 4/5 each. Avoid the bugs! Crunchy and tasteless. Pleasant staff.

Food was excellent but the cocktails were a tiny bit disappointing. I did like the Red Thai at Night a lot though! Mango corncakes are delicious, and the crispy beef was excellent too. The tables are all quite close together so it is a bit cramped, which normally I wouldn't mind, but sadly we had a group of people at the next table who for some reason kept giving my friend and I dirty looks from the moment we were seated, which was a bit of a shame.

Great restaurant. We did the curry and a drink for £15 lunchtime offer. Was a great deal and tasted lovely! Service was good too. Will definitely be back again soon.

Whilst visiting Southampton, a friend and I popped into Mangos after seeing the menu and looking for a quick bite to eat. The menu looked particularly appetizing and the well priced cocktails were attractive. We thought about checking out a near by Indian place but the weather was not great so we returned. The restaurant was empty except for a waitress or could have been the owner taking a call. Not a good sign for me if it's empty. The lady smiled and waved us in to take any seats we wanted as long as it has cutlery. We fancied one away from the open windows - without cutlery. As we checked the menu, the lady appeared and said something about I did tell you to sit at a table with cutlery, before moving some to us. Okay... do we bail? Well luckily we didnt. The cocktails were lovely. The Thai tapas were great, nice flavours and the sauces were just right. The deep fried vegetables were a bit tasteless and the fish cakes a bit rubbery but the rest of the meal was great. Overall pretty good. Nice food, nice cocktails. Service a bit odd at first.

The restaurant is only 5-10 minutes walk from the Mayflower theatre and so is a great place to have a pre-show meal and even though we arrived 10 minutes late due to the football traffic we had no problem getting out with plenty of time. I went for 2 tapas - the chicken satay and the hot and sour pork. The satay sauce was excellent - lovely and creamy and thick and the chicken were very good sized pieces but they were a bit dry from being overcooked. The suace with the pork had a lovely chilli kick and went very well with the pork but again I found the pork was dry and overcooked. The house red was good and went well with the chciken & pork. Service was very good and the food arrived very quickly. I did feel that the tables could do with a really good clean as they were slightly sticky. Definitely a place to try again next time we visit the Mayflower.
