Not too bad at all, donner is a little salty, portions are decent, and nicely packed for takeaway, the usual polystyrene boxes are actually cardboard which is great!

Wow…..just wow, i work in the takeaway industry providing services to takeaways across the Uk business to business so I get see and sample a lot of takeaway food and i have to say the food in the grill house with the new ownership is amazing, if your in the area and get the chance to eat in I say do it….you won’t regret your choice

I have ordered multiple times and also dined instore and I have to say, there is a competitor that I wouldn't dare go too. Grill house are by far the best on the whole high street!
I really enjoyed the chicken and rice meal 😋 the rice really reminded me of nandos rice, it was perfect! Mixed vegetables in the rice! The chicken flavour will blow you away trust me!
But my personal favourite is the calzone! And it's really cheap too! You could easily share this! Even for 1 I eat alot but it is a Challenge to defeat on your own
Eating instore is really nice, me and my girlfriend had a nice date instore and also me and my friend ordered a whole lot of food once! The Team are very happy and welcoming 🙏
I remember I was walking down the high street and one of the members waved me and my husky over, he gave Loki free kebab!
Now when I order Loki gets very happy!

Great value doner and shish kebabs with lots of fresh salad. Lots of tasty chicken and I’ve not seen a bigger kebab for less than £7.

Its been a long time since i felt that both quality and quantity were fitting the price of food. This place has restored my faith in not spending 30+£ getting food enough for 2 big lads!
We had a wrap each, i had a calzone with chicken doner meat and he had chicken popcorn. We have leftovers!
The wraps felt surprisingly heavy and were just as filling and the calzone is innovative for fingerfood as you'll see on the picture ive included!

In last two days we was twice in this lovely place.
So one day Kebab and second day Pizza both was delicious, tasty and very fresh. Before our food was ready we received a portion of very delicious soup as a gift.
Absolutely friendly Staff and happy to give you some discounts and bigger portion of your food.
So I wish to recommend this place to all of you.
If I will be back to Southampton one day I definitely will come back to Grill House again.

Went to Grill House on recommends from locals in Shirley. Fancied something a little different, so asked the owners for some of their favourites. One word - chicken liver. Just an amazing meal, the new owners kept feeding me, well past bursting! The doner & chicken kebab in particular was a knockout.
Great atmosphere sitting in on a busy Friday night, with a free tea at the end of our meal.
Really nice wee buzz about the place, very reasonably priced, and food worth a detour for. Can’t wait for next time.
