I never order a steak in restaurants because invariably it comes out overcooked. I'm so glad I chanced it here, a great cut of meat served beautifully blue but with a perfect amount of char. Starter was delicious and the dessert was amazing with great choices available for all 3 courses. Great wine and cocktails list too. Service was a little disorganised, I think I ended up with at least 4 people serving me throughout the meal and while all of them were lovely it did mean things got missed.

First time having a roast dinner here and it was brilliant. It’s difficult to find a good roast dinner but pleased to say I’ve found one! Service was quick, the staff were friendly, and portions were large. Overall very pleased and will definitely be back.

One of the best meals I've had in ages. Friendly service. Happy to alter the dishes for food allergies. Left to loiter after meal, without being rushed, but it was quite quiet. Ideal venue, and great food if you are visiting Harbour Lights Picturehouse or want food outside of the Harbour Hotel.

It’s hard to find a restaurant that serves a roast dinner as good as one made at home, however the Olive tree didn’t disappoint. Highly recommended. Fast friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and food amazing.

Had a family gathering and had delicious food accompanied by some nice cocktails and wine. We had the seafood platter, sourdough and olives to start, did not disappoint. The scallops were superb! 100% recommend. Everyone had different mains but overall a great meal experience special compliments for the sirloin steak and the steak tagliatelle. Everyone was really impressed. Thank you!

Exceptional food and service. Restaurant has a lovely ambience and a great view of the marina. Four of us dined at The Olive Tree. We were all happy with what we ordered and can not wait to go back.

Can't recommend this place highly enough. Welcoming owners and staff, fantastic location and excellent food! I began with the crab on toast which was an excellent balance acid, salt and fat. The chateaubriand for mains was a marvel. Served on a large platter, ready sliced, it made for a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. Served a perfect medium rare, the steak was well seasoned and the peppercorn provided a sharp complement. Paired with the mac and cheese, chunky chips, creamy mash and creamed spinach, this was a fantastic main and one I will be back to enjoy again. For dessert, the creme brulee was everything it should be! Creamy, sweet, a lovely complement of textures, and the lemon thyme biscuit paired with it was perfect.

Me and my partner came without reservation on a Thursday evening. They accommodated us without an issue. The staff were absolutely great, and super attentive. Very nice evening ambiance and the food was just perfect, nicely plated, flavourful and so so tasty. Worth every penny. Couldn’t be faulted, we would be coming back and couldn’t recommend it more to others. Thank you so much for that 😁🙏🏽

The waitress was extremely attentive and checked in multiple times if everything was well. The food is really good but a bit salty, so I suggest ordering a bottle of water. Good portion sizing and they made a change to make my meal vegetarian. Much appreciated of course. Can't say much about atmosphere since I was the only customer I think. Would visit again.
