A small group staying in the area overnight. We had a couple of drinks. Nice bar, good atmosphere. Might of had some other ale if available. Would go back.
My husband and I came for Christmas lunch with our friend on Christmas Day. It was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere in the place was lovely. The staff were happy and helpful. It was the best Christmas Day dinner we’d ever had. Really appreciated the attention to detail. The little things, like a Christmas card on the table for us. The place was decorated beautifully. Thank you. We will be recommending you.
The pub is very warm and welcoming and the staff are super friendly.
We were asked about allergies when we were placing our food order and due to a nut allergy on our table the staff went through the procedure with us.
The drinks were lovely, lots to choose from and the food was delicious, hot and presented well.

My first visit to this Pub & was very impressed. Yes it's part of a chain but I couldn't fault it. I had sea bass fillets & they were cooked perfectly...

The village Inn is a great local pub, great selection of beers, and by far the most reasonable priced drinks in the area. The only gripe I now have is that the American Tipping culture has crept into the card payments. In the UK we pay a decent wage, please do not force me to have to make a guilt trip decision every time I use my card.
Matt & Jess were excellent they made sure we were ok and everything was fine very attentive.

Pre ordered our food last week from the festive menu. Main courses delivered after a wait, only to be told we hadn't ordered starters - we had! Main courses kept warm during this time. Turkey was dried out. 2 of our party ordered the festive burger, with an extra burger- no extras in either, and not very festive - just burger and chips. Disappointed after reading other reviews, and being recommended by a colleague

Food was great, service was good if a little slow. If you can order using the phone app be good if that could be tied in to a tab rather than have to order at the counter if we wish to run a tab

Came back on my own during a work break, was fairly busy. Again very good service, lovely food and didn't feel out of place at all. Very relaxing, just what I needed!
I booked a table for 14 team members for our Christmas lunch. Booking, paying the deposit, and placing our preorder was simple and the team even picked up on a mistake I made with the preorder and called me to ensure it was correct.
The whole team were hugely impressed with the quality of the food and the service from the whole team, it was impeccable! You have certainly gained some new clients in the future and I can’t thank the team enough for providing us such a wonderful experience.
Had a great evening here. Really happy thay managed to squeeze use in for mother's day and the burger was really good. Will be coming back more often. Only downside was it was really dark
Came in with my girlfriend for a nice pub dinner and there was nothing to complain about, wonderful meal, the guys serving us were great and a decent choice of lagers. Took a little extra money back from the fruit machine as a bonus😁
