Have been three times for lunch now and each time a different main course. The fish pie is the best I have ever had, the avocado, chicken and bacon salad is such a nice big portion and very tasty plus the lentil salad was really delicious. I am working my way through the menu and recommending to all of my friends. Well done Mo and Mandy, you've transformed the place �
Fantastic afternoon here today. We came to celebrate a 90th birthday celebration. Lovely selection of food at a reasonable price.
They are offering table service for diners and this would be good if they can keep it up.
Would definately recommend the place.
Great ambience and really friendly staff providing a timely service. Choice of ales was impressive. And live entertainment capped off a memorable night. Good value for money and a really nice pub. Well.done!!
Went to Strawberry Field for Easter lunch, food was excellent and service was prompt and courteous will go there again. The ambiance was good.

Had an all day breakfast. It was hot and delicious. Had beer there and I was not happy with the taste. They rectified by supplying a fresh pint. Staff are great, will be back again.
They say its all about "right time, right place". Well spending time here over the festive period was definitely this.
We spent a wonderful Christmas Eve there with our adult children. We then spent an evening catching up one evening before NY.
Then we spent NY there - a fantastic evening. The atmosphere was fab and the singers great.
The staff have certainly helped create a wonderful atmosphere and Lauren is at the front of the cheerful welcome.
Looking forward to our next visit!
Everything was lovely till my fish & chips arrived. Ordered small potion off the menu. The fish was very small. Two bites and it was gone. It wasn't a peticularly nice cut of fish . Looked like the tail end. At £10.99 I expected something better
Fantastic place! Great food/menu, lovely portions. Excellent chips. Friendly & polite staff. Clean, straightforward, lovely variety of drinks on offer & display. My new local, super handy when shopping or just fancy a lovely pint of blood orange cider (immensely drinkable!!) - cheers! 🍻
I Planned to meet friends to celebrate a birthday. The pub is great, good selection of beers, service very good. We will definitely return.

I went in today and had an all day breakfast. It was very good. It was piping hot and really good ingredients.
The pub was clean and tidy and the staff were very polite and welcoming.
The food was wonderful 😋 and plenty of it, the staff were friendly, we were here for mother's day and thoroughly enjoyed it, would definitely recommend this pub
Popped in for a coffee whilst the car was being washed and valetted. As it was mid afternoon it was quiet, which suited me.
The place was clean and the staff were hospitable and friendly. Sadly, I've dropped a star as the price for the coffee I felt was a little high for a straightforward basic coffee.
Overall, a pleasant way to spend an hour.
Stopped in for a pint mid afternoon whilst my mam and sister went into Waitrose opposite.
Was visiting my sister who lives nearby, £5.50 was a shock to the system coming from Hartlepool myself where I can get a pint for £2.
Is what it is, friendly staff and very clean. No food so cannot comment.

Sunday lunch yesterday, and the roast pork was fabulous, more than enough, nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Large imposing building on corner site with plenty of seating within. Clearly cared for with bright planted hanging baskets bidding a warm welcome.
Had a quick drink and chips after shopping. Very nice indeed🤩
