A great family run pub. Food was excellent and the beer was the same. I was on my own but was made welcome. It's not often the I recommend places but I would certainly recommend this place.
Great mix of good polish food (not only polish) and english pub so you can have experienc of nice local pub with local people and eat well something new if you're Brit or like moms food if you are Pole. Stuff and owner are very welcoming. And there is live sport, dart � and toys for kids so really good place to go with even small kids (tested).
One week ago we had family dinner ..everything was excellent, food amazing ,friendly professional staff 100%recommend this place :)
Amazing pub, great atmosphere,the food is really nice, karaoke night is a really good night and a nice family who run the pub and make you feel very welcome,definetly worth a visit
Food looked and tested fantastic. Staff were friendly, place was clean and tidy. Definitely gonna go back in the near future for a meal and a pint.

Pig and whistle is a lovely pub to go to. The menu always have good and different 'special of the day', and it's a great family and friendly atmosphere. There are always fun upcoming events throughout the year too. �
We always travel from Bournemouth for the absolutely delicious beef goulash & potato cakes and somebody can think we are crazy but believe me this trip is worth it. It's a lovely family pub and we are always made to feel welcome. It's a good atmosphere and mix of Polish and English. See you soon Ania & Paul

Amazing pub serving wonderful food and great atmosphere
I went there for the first time today as part of a family gathering, the staff were friendly, polite and worked extremely hard. The food was excellent, very tasty and the portion sizes were very generous. I saw other people eating there and their meals looked equally good.
Nice friendly pub serving food from midday to 20 :00. Simple Menu but good food. The chicken devolay was excellent.
Great food, friendly service and decent prices. Was lovely to be able to sit in the beer garden with our friends and dog. Nice hanging baskets but the artifical decorations on the wall were a bit tacky and all of the seat cushions were soggy as they had been left out in the rain. Minor things though and we did have a lovely meal

Prices fine, food is actually very good, not an amazing selection of lagers, but enough. Service was fairly quick and staff were friendly.
All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

Wonderful staff, kind, positive. The food... you can tell, that the kitchen stuff, loves his job! Good alkohol selection, fair prices! The place is clean! I fell in love, the moment I walked in.
One of my favourite gems around the area, lovely garden and always greeted with a smile from behind the bar. Food is delicious, my personal favourite is the Chicken and Bacon Burger! Always freshly cooked to perfection! Would recommend it with a fraught cider! Absolute heaven! 😍

This was the first time we visited this place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is nothing fancy about the place but it is nice and clean. The food was marvellous, Polish dishes on the menu and I had the goulash with fried potato cakes which was delicous and plentiful. Will definitely visit again

I would recommend this place to everyone. I had my wedding reception here and everything was absolutely perfect. Food was amazing! Guests left the place with full bellies , saying they have never seen so much food on the table before . Duck was absolutely delicious. Ewelina the owner decorated the place beautifully for me. The staff were very helpful and very polite , served all the guests with smile’s on their face . Thank you very much for everything. 😘
I have not been to this pub for years. On the off chance, I popped in for a roast. Didn’t know what to expect. Absolutely lovely. Cooked really well. The meat is really soft and tender. Nice, friendly staff too. Definitely be popping back.
