We love coming here. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming even when it’s busy and you can tell they are stressed, they always have time for you. They are a dog friendly coffee shop and our boys love to visit and have become fast favourites with the staff. They provide treats and water for the dogs for free and pup cups can be purchased.
The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed even when it’s busy. They have a wide range of food, cakes and drinks. I always look forward to seeing what seasonal drinks they have too.
Beautiful cafe with good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Staff are friendly and coffee is normal number one coffee taste, better than other company made coffee. Croissant was fresh and crunchy. They serve different types of coffee.

We came with a cruiseship to Southampton. My "fetish" is ,to drink a good coffee in each town we travel. With this cafe we made the perfect choice. We ordered a flat white and a very tasty cake🍰. Usually my wife doesn't drink a flat white,but she was very satisfied. For me it was a perfect flat white. The stuff was very lovely. We liked the interieur. Thank you for this experience 🫶
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Usual coffees, like latte, mocha..., are fine, however house filter and Costa Rican are more or less rat poison. I may not be a true coffee lover but I tried and that is way too acid and bitter, I keep trying and even after 2 sugar and 2 sweeteners it was undrinkable for me.

A very nice Coffee shop in the heart of Southampton. Friendly staff, decent seating places (both indoor and outdoor) and aromatic coffee :) I would like to recommend Cofee#1 for anyone who wants a coffee break. Thanks.
The staff are really friendly and polite. The setting is really cozy and has a calming atmosphere. Jazz was playing when I walked through.

Coffee#1 seems to be a great company with lush cakes and great coffee anywhere you find one. However this particular branch has a really good team that make you feel very welcome and seem to work very well together. It's always a pleasure to get my morning coffee here.
Lovely staff, great coffee. You can also get a free bag of coffee grounds for the garden here. Special mention to Zac and Joe. They are both super efficient, very friendly and make a great cup of tea and coffee. Have visited twice more and tried the cappuccino which was perfect both times.
