Excellent pub with good food and friendly staff, who put up with our rather loud group with great good humour!
The food here is absolutely brilliant I take my hat off to the chef. You best give him a raise as I wouldn't be surprised if someone took him off your hands.
Lovely atmosphere, staff are very friendly. I had left my wallet and keys outside and a member of staff was kind enough to return it to me. Always receive fantastic service and hospitality from Marta
My friend and i called in for lunch, met with happy friendly staff, went out of their way to cater for us, and were really chatty, loved the place, will definitely go there again also good value for money, and great food 😊

Great visit today with our son. Have been used to the generic Sunday roast that most pubs offer. I had to review this as it’s top notch. We asked and it’s completely home made and every mouth full was great . They had run out of Guinness zero so had the original and wasn’t disappointed at all. The gold was also on but I wasn’t allowed to stay all night to watch. Great service from James also.

Big pub near the city centre. It had a good atmosphere and seemed to cater towards sports fans. They were showing football when I visited on the many screens around the place.
I didn't order any food, but just from seeing other people eating I thought it looked good! It definitely smelled good!
Service was good and staff were friendly. Wasn't too expensive either. Overall definitely worth a visit for watching sports!
This is a perfect and picturesque English pub. It has a great menu and the food is outstanding. They offer a wide variety of beers and ciders. After 10 long days on a cruise having stepped foot on land this was the perfect experience. 10/10 recommend!!!
I was visiting Southampton for five days. It was the first place I had dinner, and it was so good I went back for dinner on my last night in town. The fish and chips were amazing. My husband said his burger was awesome. My daughter loved the halloumi salad. The atmosphere is great - there was music but it wasn't too loud and there was sports on the TVs.
It’s a cavernous place and, on a Wednesday evening with the rain hacking down, was pretty empty. That said though, the service was superb, the prices great, the quality of booze top notch, and plenty of nooks and crannies for my to sit and read.
It is great to go with friends, chat, have pints and sth to bite.
Their Guinness is well poured, delicious 😋
Food is not bad, but I believe it is ready-made food. It is not a problem, but my five starts would be for house-made food.
The Katsu chicken burger, fries and onion rings was my choice and it was very tasty.
I hadn’t had this before but I’m glad I did and recommend it for the slightly spicy flavour. It’s not too spicy but it’s a good amount of heat.
The venue is good for meals and plenty of seating, tv’s for sports and all you’d expect from a Greene King pub. Good service and staff at this visit were attentive.
We booked an area of the pub for a belated staff do and the guys in the pub were really friendly, helpful and made sure we had a great time! We had a great time with our work colleagues with some nice food and good drinks! Thank you for a great night guys and we'll definitely be back soon!

Food was good .Recommend the flat iron steak.
Came to watch the rugby on a saints home day, the staff put up with so much on days like this. Witnessed a horrible customer abuse and berate a member of staff. The poor girl was in tears after the exchange and the customer didn’t even apologise. She still soldiered on, and working in retail myself, I know how difficult it is to have to deal with this and she did a great job serving me after.
Came in with my friends for a christmas drinks and had a wonderful time. Service was 10/10 and staff were so friendly! The pub gave such a festive vibe with amazing decorations and really made our night. Highly recommend!
5 STARS. The Manager is brilliant and so friendly. Very interesting to hear where he has worked, so much experience. All the staff are brilliant and the place is dog friendly. The first thing I noticed was the Christmas decorations, so many and looks fabulous. Got to be 5 stars
Delicious cocktails made by the most kind and caring server, named Chris. Took amazing care of our group the whole night, will definitely be coming back. The food was 10/10 and couldn’t recommend more!
Absolutely fantastic, manager Dylan was wonderful when we had a minor issue. Lovely environment, great food, and considering its a city centre pub a very generous 2 for 1 offer.
My daughter and I got a table straight away which is good going in Southampton City Centre! We both ordered the beef sirloin roast dinner. It was absolutely delicious, you could tell the sirloin was seasoned and cooked properly and the cauliflower cheese was the best I have had, even the orange juice and lemonade was spot on. Will definitely be back 😀
