What a great little bar this is. We had a fantastic evening listening to the Black Kat Boppers. This is definitely the place to go if you like craft ales, mixed with a great vibe and music. Would highly recommend.
A great place in the middle of Southampton. A great range of Real Ale and some top quality Cider with various flavours. A great atmosphere. Friendly place that was very popular. Definately going back to try more of the special drinks.
It's a Friday night local for an after work pint and dog friendly, but have to say the 80s vinyl session with a couple of Wildebeest went down a treat yesterday!! Highly recommended place, friendly team behind the bar
Great atmosphere, nice little place filled with great people and a humungeous range of beers and ciders to tempt you in. Board games/ bar mat flipping and cards against humanity much amusement. Also plenty of beards!

Always plenty to choose from and always well served, never had a duff pint yet. Furnishings and interior design is back to basics but you come here for great ale and camaraderie with like minded real ale lovers.

Overdraft is great because it's not too big. Nice clientele for Shirley! Beer is very good and lots of variety. Staff very friendly and they also play decent good music. Will go again.

A wonderfully eclectic place. The decor and atmosphere are very 'garage'. The tacos are delicious - we had the carne asada and the beef was just perfect. Also got the wings and they were spicy, sticky and perfectly cooked.
The selection of beers and ciders is as usual fantastic. A good variety !

Food was fantastic! I've had a lot of terrible tacos in my life any this without a doubt isn't one of them. Food was delicious, service was great and our pints tasted spot on. Five stars!

So this is the overdraft in Shirley I went with a friend I am 71 there was such a varied age froup there is was brilliant I had mango cider nachos and fish tacos absolutely lovely quick and the service my young lady was wonderful. Highly reccomend I would think in the summer its going to be packed out
Didn’t know what to expect when I turned up, but the food was amazing and a little bit too much so I got to take some home! And my favourite song of all time was playing… 11/10 x
Great local place to have a few craft pints. They changed regularly with really good beers on the tap. It's a bit of an exaggerated hipster mood, but if you don't mind that is an excellent local one. Food was good too, a little extra spicy 🔥 but good.
Absolutely amazing staff, live music, record store and selection of ales. Please make the chimichurri burgers a permanent addition to the menu!
A bit of a welcome oasis in the area. Great atmosphere, food looks fantastic, and always good to find a place with mezcal behind the bar. Will definitely be back.
