Um. Personally, I found the meals on the small side, but it was still nice.
The reason for the positive review, that it was down to a great member of staff called Karen. Honestly, it made our evening great for the 20 of us.

Usual Bella Italian quality, always a pleasant visit. All dishes were served quickly with food portions and exceptional taste. This restaurant is fantastic, will certainly visit again.
The food was absolutely amazing and was so tasty, it was cooked just right and the portions wasn't so massive, and a friendly atmosphere and amazing staff, so worth my trip again
Really nice service, had a wonderful salad and the dessert was nice. People were helpfull and the atmosphere was great. All and all the best place for dinner alone or with friends.
Really nice 3 course meal with my Husband. We did a date day and came to Bella Italia for lunch before heading to the cinema. Lovely atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Being a lunch time on a Thursday there was only 4 or 5 tables occupied. Would go again for sure. Beautiful food & cocktails!!
Bella Italia in Southampton offers decent service and a variety of Italian dishes. Their vegetarian pizza, while above mediocre, lacks that wow factor. However, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff compensate for any shortcomings. It's a decent spot for a casual Italian meal, but don't expect the pizza to blow you away.
We had a lovely evening, family dinner, 3 children 2 adults, our waitress Sima which we believe is also the manger, brilliant and a credit to the restauarnt, food was lovely, youngest was 9 and he ate every mouthful, when taking children to restaurants these are the most important people at the table, and the whole dinner went smoothly. Pictures don't do the food justice, for a chain restaurant you did good. Thank you. Keep it up.
A good evening spent with nice food. First time trying the mini calzones. The chilli jam really improved them, without it I wouldn't have them again.
All food arrived promptly and was piping hot.
Can't say it was the best pizza I've ever had but that's due to personal taste not that there was anything glaringly wrong with it overall.
Lovely lady Lucy she was serving us tonight. Lucy has excellent customer service skills helpful, polite great knowledge of all food served also asked about allergies and the 3 course meal we had was amazing. Good value for money. We will be back with the rest of the family.
Had lovely evening celebrating my sisters birthday!! Brillant staff Karen waitress and and Barb manager( all on the ball) food was fantastic from the chefs done as I asked was perfect!! Would come again :)
A large restaurant with the Bella Italia menu offering many options. Service was OK (18.00 on a Friday, Bank Holiday weekend, less than 20% full when we left just befoe 19.00).
Excellent service from all of the staff. Regularly use this restaurant before the football match. Can be very busy but staff are really good and well managed

If you want to go there for a nice meal with your friends and loved ones this is a great place to go.
They have some really nice food and do a wide range of drinks as well. Perfect place to go after a busy day.
