We had a wonderful experience at The Ship, after being turned away at two other pubs due to being full. We headed over to the Ship, although it was late on a Wednesday we were welcomed and quickly seated. We had the friendliest person serve, who went above and beyond and had a great sense of humour
We would like to thank Alison and the team for what they have done for us on our wedding day. The marquee was beautifully set up, and the food was also at a very high standard. Communication with Alison in the build-up to the big day was exceptional, and we can't thank her enough for that...

Seating for a table of five was available without booking. Nice log fire nearby, not too hot but enough to be noticed. Food came quickly and thoroughly enjoyed by the group. Parking at the rear of the building but can get very busy. We will be visiting again.
Just great!! We had a birthday get together in the skittle alley. 28 people. All ages catered for. The food from the winter menu was good and served quickly. The staff were attentive, friendly and happy 😊 Definitely recommend to everyone
We stopped off here on the way home to London and were very pleasantly surprised! The staff were SO friendly and attentive - especially Dave, thank you! - and the food was yummy. Also, we sat beside on open fire, which was an absolute delight! Highly recommend.

Although very busy, as it was mothering sunday, our meals came out all together, hot and well presented. Staff very polite and friendly, overall a perfect time. Waitress Grace was extremely good too
Been to The Ship Inn twice over two weekends. Both times the food was delicious. We hired the Skittles Room for our family Christmas party. There's 33 of us. The bar man was really lovely, food was top notch and service brilliant. Would recommend 🫶🏻
