Came with another reviewer on here on Saturday evening and it is obvious why this restaurant gets busy very quickly and remains that way all night. Service was prompt and courteous, and food served in a timely fashion. We were in a group of 20, all of which had pre-ordered to give the kitchen chance of serving us all at the same time, which they did! Fabulous choice of very generously sized portions. Everyone enjoyed the flavorsome dishes, the truffle burgers were as good as you can get. The pizza and truffle fries we had as starters, equally as nice. Everywhere was clean and well maintained and although busy did not feel crowded. Just a shame that we live so far away... but would certainly go again!

Popped in for brunch, a bit of confusion whether we wanted to eat or just a drink (we meant coffee but directed to the bar). So we decided we would eat. Decisions decisions. Anyway, once that was done, the service and food was excellent. We had tea, in the end, which was tasty but almost colourless (too posh for us?)

"Embarking on our inaugural adventure at Banana Wharf, we were greeted by an experience that exceeded all expectations. Our group, comprising three adults and a child, found a delightful haven for both young and old. The kids' menu was ample, accompanied by engaging coloring puzzles and a set of vibrant pencils, ensuring our little one was entertained throughout. Securing a coveted outdoor table, we were enveloped in warmth by the overhead heaters, shielding us from the evening chill after a splendid sunny day. The staff, marked by their unwavering friendliness and attentiveness, navigated a bustling evening with grace. Despite a slight delay in one of our desserts, their transparency about the bustling atmosphere, amplified by a large birthday party, eased any concerns. We leisurely sipped our drinks, appreciating the vibrant ambiance around us. As for the food, it was a tastebud pleasure, I, someone typically averse to meat-on-bone dishes, succumbed to the allure of the ribs and wing stack. The sauce was an exquisite dance of flavors, compelling me to clean my plate entirely. It's a dish I wholeheartedly recommend, with the exception, of course, for our vegetarian friends who might miss out on this carnivorous delight. Beyond the gastronomic pleasures, Banana Wharf's presentation of dishes was a feast for the eyes. Every platter delivered to neighboring tables was a unique display of food art. Nestled against the picturesque marina backdrop, Banana Wharf thrives in its vibrant energy. Despite the bustling crowd, the atmosphere remained inviting, allowing us to revel in our culinary journey. In essence, our first visit was not just a meal but a memorable escapade. We are already eagerly anticipating our return to this unparalleled gastronomic oasis."

We went to Banana Wharf for dinner on Monday night. It was very busy , we probably waited for 45 minutes for our main course. The food was delicious. However my main course was not the one I ordered. The manager apologized several times and offered me if I would like to reorder the food. The streak was nice but had lots fat part. I didn't want to waste the food and I turned down the offer but did expect they do something for the wrong order. At the end we had a surprising discount bill. The atmosphere is very good, great view , good customer service. Definitely will go back. Love Southampton.

Quick Starter & Main service but then Desserts took a long time to come out. The main course for 2 people was cold, quickly fixed. Would recommend.

Its was my Daughter 18th birthday, we came week ago to book table for 20, all set up and booked , manager so so helpful, I can not express how we impressed with the food and drink and the service from the staff such as Marta and Ksiana and others , we loved it xx 10 of 10 , pizza was very delicious, Linguini seafood was amazing then Truffle blue cheese burgers was fab 👌 and don't forget the Truffle chips was yummy. Note: the meal was large so , if someone hungry, you will be satisfied more than enough unlike some Italian food get samples instead ...our friends and family came from London to celebrate with us in Banana Wharf restaurant, they came out happy customer 😋 ..

Had fantastic New Year's Eve celebrations here. The food is lovely here - this was my second time of visiting - (no Rapeseed Oil thank goodness), the cocktails are brilliant, the service is always excellent 👌 and the atmosphere spot on. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience at a beautiful location and I shall be visiting again.

A lovely place over looking the marina. Met up with an old friend and enjoyed an afternoon in the sun. The food menu was extensive and offered excellent variety. The ribs and wings combo was huge. The choice of beers was a little limited but there was a good variety of wines and cocktails on offer. The service was good and the waitresses were friendly. A nice place to spend an afternoon and to chat.

Went to Banana Wharf today for Easter Sunday lunch. We all had a roast and it was simply perfect. Food excellent, generous portion sizes and staff could not be more accommodating. Thank you from the five of us, we will be back.

Spacious restaurant with a separate bar section right by the marina. Food was yummy and the portions were impressive. Definitely arrive hungry! We were told we'd have to wait for food for a while because the restaurant was busy, but it came earlier than expected.

I enjoyed my meal, the fajitas, however my partner did not enjoy us. Service is a little bit slow but nothing major, atmosphere is nice. Seems like the place for a group gathering rather than an intimate date. Lovely location.

A really lovely place. We originally went to Maritimo lounge around the corner, but as we were ignored by most of the staff there until I asked someone to help us and then there was a ridiculously long wait for food, we walked out. (Don't bother going there) We walked around the corner and found 'Banana Wharf', as soon as we entered, we were greeted with a smile, seated quickly and our server introduced themselves. A small but perfect menu, our waiter was new and still learning but very professional, I had a question, she quickly found the answer. (I can't remember her name) The view is nice over the harbour. The food was perfect, the 'corporal jones' sausages are a must. A very clean and modern décor, toilets were fresh and well maintained. We will be back when we were next down.
