The food is very amazing. Very delicious and the portions are very good. But the people are screaming. I cannot understand why people talk so loud. Why people don't respect who is sitting next to the table? That is annoying and I can't feel relaxed.

Halladays Tea Rooms is such a lovely place. The aesthetic is very pretty and invites you in the moment you get there. Such an amazing decor that gives it a cozy environment. I had a great time with my friend there. We went for Brunch at 11 am. It was quite busy but spaces were still available. Got really quiet for an hour between 12pm and 1pm giving us the window of opportunity to capture some great pictures of the place. The staff were so friendly, really appreciated their service. And the food was great too. Served in good portions and the price was decent. I had brown toast with fried eggs and a latte. My friend had brown toast with scrambled eggs with a latte but with oat milk. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to hang out by yourself or in small groups. Great place for breakfast, brunch and similar. I will be looking forward to going back to try other items from the menu.

The best breakfast I have had in a very long time. All the ingredients were of a high quality and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent; friendly and prompt. Small pots of fresh fruit and chocolates with your bill are just a couple of examples of the extra steps this tearoom takes to ensure their customers have an enjoyable experience.

Afternoon tea set: £17 per person (min two servings) Can make a booking via phone call at least one day earlier. Warm and relaxed vibes, friendly service and tasty food. The salmon sandwich, scones and carrot cake were really nice.

Came for breakfast, had the eggs Benedict and full English. Very good portion sizes, the afternoon tea looks STACKED, and likely worth the price. Recommend reserving in advance for afternoon tea, everything else is walk-in and first come first serve. The service was very good, the team interacted well with the punters and they seem to enjoy working together which makes the atmosphere all that nicer!

A very popular restaurant it was almost standing room only and the reason is the quality food. Quick service by professional staff. I opted for the full English and I was very impressed, the quality of the sausage, bacon and black pudding and poached eggs done to perfection. Well presented and piping hot. When you look at the breakfast menu it's very impressive. The couple next to us opted for the pancakes and fresh berries and cream it was a large dish and lm sure she didn't finish it , l would have struggled as I did with the full English. Excellent service food and value for money.

A rather beautiful and cute place to have fancy high tea. I have had better ones before I would still rank it 5 star because of the ambiance, cleanliness, hygiene, service, waiting and all factors. Price was bit higher for this menu but maybe because the area is expensive and it’s in the heart of the city. Parking is a challenge to access the place because there isn’t immediate parking spaces on the road it’s situated and you’d be lucky if you get one on either side of the road. My experience was great and I’d recommend.

Came here with my Mrs after being told by a friend that they do the best breakfast in Southampton bar none. Lovely little place with very girly decor. I ordered and to be honest expected a small breakfast. Then the food came out and boy how wrong could I be. My breakfast was huge and really well cooked all of it was delicious. The staff were really friendly and service was great. I would definitely come here again and agree that it's the best breakfast I have ever had in Southampton. Highly recommend A****** Thanks guys 👍😃

Came here for brunch - it’s very popular and there were consistently queues outside but we were fortunate to have a short wait, and the staff were efficient and communicating wait times well. Once inside the food was great! Really good portion sizes. I had the New Yorker which was generous and well cooked, and the staff were very conscientious of dietary requirements and friendly throughout. Thoroughly recommend.

Amazing tea room located in Bedford Place, Southampton, they do have an amazing afternoon tea menu, an impressive range of cakes, a beautiful selection of teas, the atmosphere, and service is second to none. I had eggs royale , the yolks, were as they should be a delightful runny consistency washed down with a pot of herbal tea Also , a good location if you are attending an afternoon performance at Mayflower Theatre

Such a gorgeous little cafe! The staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. Our teas and coffees came with a little biscuit which was a lovely touch. And our bill came with these adorable little bags with chocolate coins inside. Halladays really make an effort with the little things including the presentation of their food.

Absolute gem of a place for a breakfast, lunch or dinner. We have just had the most wonderful lunch in Halladays Tea Rooms. For the money the meals are filling and definitely great value and delicious. The staff were very attentive and looked after us really well. If you are in Southampton then we would highly recommend eating here.

I have been wanting to take my Nan to Halladays for quite awhile, and as a treat we were able to go today for her birthday. The cafe is only small, but it is packed full of character and super cute. We both has sandwiches (they were ALOT bigger than anticipated) and wow... they were wonderful. My Nan loved her fish finger sandwich and I had the chicken, bacon and cheese one ... we have never had sandwiches so full and flavourful. Also the staff are super friendly. Only downside was that they were closing earlier than normal, so we kinda rushed our food, but other than that we had a great time and will definitely be back soon.

Wow! Just everything wow! Moved to Southampton last month and have been looking for local places to go. Found this gem! We used to go to a similar coffee shop in Wimbledon Village, but it closed years ago now and all got replaced by chains. Super happy to have found this (our new to go to local). The ambiance is friendly, cute and pink. Full of fun flowers and personal handwritten menus on the walls. My pancakes with fruit and crème fraise melted in my mouth. Yummy! A great coffee (I’m picky about my coffees). Hubby’s breakfast was a blast! Just look at that plate. Small personal details like a mint with my coffee, jam jars and butter in a neat presentation on a plate. Loved the crockery too. Great service and value for money. Absolutely delighted. Thank you 🙏
