Had the best steak of my life here tonight and believe me Ive eaten alot of steaks at various places. Had scallops, calamari and king prawns for starter and then the porterhouse steak for our main. All was incredible. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. We go back time and time again.
Last minute option and they managed to fit us in. Food was wonderful and plenty of it. Service was good and just a nice place to be in.
One of the best steaks I’ve had. Customer service was outstanding and the atmosphere was vibrant and lively. Cannot wait to go back again!
We went on a Sunday afternoon the restaurant was packed. Two of our party had steaks both cooked to perfection and the other two had Roast Pork so not disappointed it was delicious and lots of it. Extremely friendly staff who like a bit of banter.
Ive had some disastrous restaurant experiences in Southampton over the years, but this isn't one of them. It feels classy yet homely, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, the selection of meal choices is wonderful, and the food is great quality. I have been twice so far and will definitely be back again.
We regularly come here for their delicious steak platter. Incredible food, fab service, and friendly staff. I can't recommend this place enough!

Went there for a birthday meal and the food was fantastic - all three courses were delicious. The restaurant was clean, tidy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We were asked how the food was 4 times during the meal and while not intrusive, it was definitely more than necessary.
Not a cheap place to eat but I'd say that is reflected in quality of the food delivered.
We had dinner 3 people on Saturday bank holiday. Delicious food and excellent service.
The food arrived at the table very fast although they seemed busy.
The music was too loud and people were shouting. It was difficult to have a conversation and the waiter struggled to listen to our order.

Dined at this place for a small season gathering. Out of the 3 courses I had, I'd pick the starter as the best. It was so refershing at it was really tasty. Steak was also good but it was a bit off that a plate of food was given to me yet a few seconds after was taken away and given to someone else as it wasn't the correct doneness I requested. The owner seemed so impatient with his staff which is a little bit distracting as it was so obvious he was telling them off to do things. But the servers were really polite and friendly. Atmosphere felt homey and warm except from the owner/boss part. Perhaps I was just too observant but can't help notice while waiting for the next course to be served.
Great family run business. I had a steak and my wife had the lamb shank. Both were cooked perfectly. It's a very busy restaurant so expect it to be noisy but that didn't detract it from being a wonderful evening. I will definitely come again.
Amazing place. Large variety of food on the menu and excellent quality. Platter size in great with excellent service from all. The interior decor is very pleasing. Well done everyone one. Will definitely go again.
Not enough stars to give, absolutely amazing meat, had the Tomahawk special, the best I've ever had, the truffle mac&cheese was also great. I have eaten a lot of steak in my life, this was the best by far, a transcendent experience.
Absolute gem of a restaurant. Book early if you want a weekend evening though as it gets booked up very quickly.
The place was full and yet they still managed to serve in plenty of time and constantly with a smile.
The portions were adequate without being too much and the menu was varied enough that everyone should be able to find something.
The goats cheese starter was delicious and the Hampshire fillet steak cooked perfectly and was very tasty.
To top that off they have a Bailey's crème brulee!!! Not had one that good in a very long time and I think it possibly goes on my list of most favourite one ever!
