Am used to enjoying excellent service and excellent food at this lovely restaurant....but....the gammon steak I had last week was truly exceptional...well cooked...and extremely tasty. Expect to always make this choice on future visits!!

Very friendly and efficiently run pub with good menu and tasty food. Pensioners menu good value. Larger meals to fill up teenagers and big appetites. Will be visiting again soon.

Once again excellent food and service
I recently went to the fox and hen for work purposes. Had a bowl of chips, nothing special but were actually very nice, surprised me in fact. It's a lovely small pub with friendly staff. All the food I saw looked delightful with lots of colour and every one I saw seemed to be enjoying there food. They have senior citizens discount which is also very nice to see. My only consuren was that the main entrance wasnt very wheelchair accessible. The have a side back door which has a ramp but the main is just a single, step, which was difficult as a i was with someone in a wheelchair. For that reason I would have to put 4* instead of 5*. But apart from that i quite enjoyed my time there.
