Quiet Tuesday evening. Lots of staff so must be expecting a rush! All wearing face masks, even the big man with a big beard. Would have been more impressed if he had hair net to his beard! 🤔. Chips and fish were nice, not too greasy although they did look a little pale they were cooked properly. Large fish was a lovely size and really enough for 2 people especially when compared to the large fish from the frozen aisle in a supermarket! Much better than when they were trading as Fish and Chicken. Staff said it's "the same company behind both them but this Churchills this is the up market version."

Churchill's is the best fish and chip shop for miles around. It is exceptionally busy at peak times, so it's not uncommon to have a short wait even though they're well staffed to cover service. It's well worth the wait! There is a dining room here, and although I've never used it, it does appear to be popular.

Had a meal yesterday, plenty of food as I didn't eat it all. Will definitely be ordering again while I'm down here. Got a large fish and chips, the fish was in a separate box but I put it on top of my chips.☺️(there was lots of chips but I pushed half of them up)

Very acceptable fish and chips! Had 3 X senior meals - enough for us! Plus a regular meal. Tasty and good value at £23. Good friendly service.

Came here to get some food while on vacation and I gotta say that the food is great and the staff is amazing! Especially the boy with the long-ish blonde hair who served me, he was super friendly, helpful and very quick. It's hard to find such nice people nowadays, so I hope that he'll still be working here if I ever come back 😄

I have to take the food on a 20 min drive, so it isn't at its best when it gets there, but still very nice. Price has gone up quite a lot, which is happening everywhere.

Excellent food. A white, flaky cod and good chips with a really hot, proper 'cuppa'. My partner had 2 huge battered sausages. Would definitely recommend.

Best fish and chips I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. Very fresh. There should be an extra star just for them. Fantastic customer service. Had a nice chat with polish lad there. Cannot recommend it enough.

Not the cheapest around, and sometimes chips can be hit and miss. Usually a good selection of fish, pastries and chicken. Staff usually young and not totally customer focussed.

I've eaten a lot of fish and chips, but I've never had it like this. I went for the haddock and chips, eating in, was upgraded to a large for free. The fish was easily the best fish I've had in the UK, the batter was unique, light and added to the flavour rather than the usual guilty addition. Best fish and chips I've every eaten. By a long way.

Lovely place, clean, bright and a welcoming team of staff. Hot, fresh and tasty food, expensive but as a treat, definitely worth a visit. A good selection too! Covid rules very well applied. Great job guys! 😁👍
