This place has great atmosphere with good service from the staff on hand. We were a large group (10) eating, and on the whole, food was good. We did have a few areas of over cooked meet, but put this down to being a large party having meals all at once. Will visit again 👍👍👍
Our first time to the area, and what a wonderful dining experience. We both had the steak and ale pie and chips (with peas). The gravy was brilliant too. The service was excellent, fast and friendly. Ample parking!
Very enjoyable lunch here today with our friends. Wine prices per bottle very reasonable. Food very tasty. Staff very sociable.

Absolutely wonderful! Landlady is fantastic, friendly and super accommodating. The chef came to work early to make sure our son was fed sooner. His food is super tasty! Locals are chatty and welcoming. Can’t wait to spend more time here!
Oh and Rolo the dog loved it too.
