What a lovely place! We went about 1pm on a Sunday and it was rammed but we went back an hour later and glad we did! The staff were very friendly and the carvery was amazing! Huge portions of meat and all the trimmings were spot on. Dog friendly as a bonus - definitely going back!
To be fair, we were eating early and it was really quiet. The carvery finishes at7pm so the only potato option was chips... In saying that they were the best chips I've had in a long time, fluffy inside and crispy on the outside. The prices are super reasonable but the portions are just too huge! Would definitely come again
Went for a drink 1st time around to see what the place was like.
Then a couple of weeks later, had a late afternoon meal - which was lovely.
Even have dog blankets for the sofa chairs, for your dog to sit on - obviously.
Looking forward to going back there.
Beach is lovely......
We've just been there for a carvery style Sunday lunch it was gorgeous, the choice of meat was roast beef turkey gammon or pork and sausage to boot ,all beautifully cooked so tender it melted in my mouth put that with freshly cooked roasties and a mountain seasonal vegetables all rounded of with Yorkshire puds and proper gravy. I'm off for a sleep .( I'll be back )
PS my wife Has mobility we found access was easy and there was room to park her scooter at the and of the table.
First time eating hear and read some dreadful reviews. The board outside said dog friendly and we had walked the coastal path and we're starving.
We sat outside on the tressel tables and staff and service were fast, polite and efficient.
The food was hot and excellent, I had steak/ale pie, chips and gravy, which was top notch 👍 my wife said her fish and chips were excellent. Our dog wolfed down the doggy beef carvery, which was a great idea and very welcomed.
Food was good value and would definitely recommend a visit after/during a long coastal path walk.
popped in for bite to eat, not expecting full carvery, but wow, very nice indeed had beef was very tender with a massive Yorkshire pudding and help yourself for all the trimmings.

Great staff, nice food though not a fan of the breakfast and would only have mushroom omelette. Fry up preferences rather than anything wrong with it. The rest of the menu is great. Prices are reasonable.
Sea views. Inside and outside seating. Good parking also reasonable prices considering you are a hop skip and a jump from the beach and the pub.
Dog friendly. Really cannot fault the place.
Good food at a good price .. and lovely staff and nice atmosphere.. and easy to get to and good vew s off the beach ..
First time ever visiting Platform 33. Lovely carvery although I don't eat a lot. Hubby found it a struggle to finish. He didn't know if to climb his plate of food or eat it. Was lovely and a bargain for £5.99. Made a nice change for lunch.
