Called into Asda cafe in South Shields ideal for town centre area. Thought the staff in cafe was very cheerful polite and helpful told me little wait for breakfast but pleasentley surprised came lot quicker than I thought. Also nice and hot

Asda South Shields is based not far from King Street. It has easy access by bus and a pay & display car park. Good: Large range of items Cafe Toilets Electronics and gaming section Asda George Asda Pharmacy Open (almost) 24 hours Bad: Prices go up before a rollback, therefore you think you are getting a deal when you aren't. Prices do not make any sense, a pack of 4 beans was £2 and yet a pack of 6 was also £2, neither were on rollback, see above as to why. They keep moving things around, just keep them where they are. Staff are scarce, when I find one, they are always busy. Conclusion: 7/10 Whilst I do recommend Asda, there are parts that really frustrate me, items in the wrong place, prices going up before rollbacks. But I like it because it has pretty much everything you could want.
