If you are the type that loves a stylish outing with your friends or other half, with less distraction and a view of the sea as a posture, either for some pints, food or just spending quality time, then Bar52 is where you wanna be.
It is a venue entwined with a grand restaurant and a Buddha restaurant as well, hotel accommodation and an event center suitable for any occasion of any size. It is a need to visit the location if you can.

Pretty good sports bar, although sadly they don't show BT sports. Plenty of room and enough screens to go round.
We thought this was a nice addition to the bars along the sea front. A sports bar theme with a pool table and lots of large TV screens. Clean, bright with American feel. Good selections of beers and wines. We have been back a few times and will continue to do so. Cheers
Lovely new bar at the Sea Hotel in South Shields. Relaxed atmosphere and modern, trendy type decor. Serves a limited selection of snacks and nibbles like chips and chicken but they're really delicious.
Loved it, bright open, great choice of drinks and the bar food was delicious! Chris and Karen very welcoming! Will def be back!
